We had such a beautiful experience with Nat. From the moment we met, he was punctual, friendly, and so warm and welcoming, which immediately made us feel at ease. He was absolutely wonderful with my kids, showing so much patience and kindness, which made the whole session feel natural and enjoyable for our family. After a very last-minute decision to have a photographer capture a few hours of my friend’s 30th birthday, I was incredibly lucky to find Nathaniel, who responded promptly to a Facebook post. I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Nathaniel. He photographed me in my art studio and also captured the most beautiful shots of my corgi cici— and somehow managed to make the whole session feel effortless, relaxed, and fun. In the studio, he made great use of the natural light, the textures, and the creative energy of the space. The photos feel authentic and “me,” not staged or forced. They captured little details I didn’t even think about that tell the story of my work and my environment so perfectly. And with my corgi… she looks so gorgeous. As a birthday gift from my work colleagues, I was given a Boudoir shoot (which included hair and make-up, 2hr shoot session and then going through and choosing photos). Ive never had a professional shoot like this before and I was so nervous and out of my comfort zone! Nathaniel was absolutely amazing though! We talked alot leading up and at the beginning of the shoot, so that he got an idea of what look I wanted to go for and how I was feeling about the process. Every few shots he'd show me the progress, he showed me how to pose comfortably and was reassuring that I wasn't looking like a 'stunned mullet'! It was honestly the best experience! I felt and looked a million bucks, and this has really helped me to love myself and the skin I'm in just a little bit more. I received my edited photos in under a week after the shoot, with Nathaniel sending through progress photos so I could see if I was happy with the editing process. The final result is just stunning! I still look like 'me', with a few bits smoothed over that I had asked for. The entire process was very professional, from the open communication, to the hair and make-up, the shoot, choosing photos, and the editing process. Hands down I would recommend Nathaniel to anyone! Wow, we are honestly struggling to find the right words for how lucky we are to have found Nathaniel to shoot our intimate backyard wedding! ! He made us feel and look so good in front of the camera (we are NOT 'photo people' and just tend to just look awkward in staged photos, haha!) The complimentary shoot prior to our wedding day was phenomenal, especially knowing how to position ourselves without it looking or feeling forced and having such lovely pictures of ourselves to treasure already. It felt like seeing an old friend again on our big day, rather than a random vendor, and we felt right at ease knowing he'd capture all the important details (that weren't even on our radar!) Nathaniel made sure we got amazing photos of all the little details, key moments and every single guest. Looking back through the photos we have no idea how he achieved this without a second shooter?!! He was everywhere, all at once, without us even noticing him. He's a ninja!! Nathaniel was very professional, highly responsive and so natural at building rapport with guests (and kids!) without being in anyone's face and he captured the vibe of the day beautifully without missing a detail. We got so many compliments for Nathaniel from guests and that was before anyone even saw their pictures! You won't regret going with Nathaniel, and we had our full suite of (many, many!) photos back before we had even finished opening our cards!! I was disappointed with our wedding photos. Not many good shots were taken, especially during the additional hours we booked for the lunch party, key moments and the vibe of the day were not captured. Most photos, including those from our family photo shoot, were taken generally without attention to angles, facial expressions, or composition, and lacked aesthetic appeal. Overall, it felt like no professional skill or creativity was applied, and the results did not reflect the quality shown in Nathaniel’s portfolio. Nathaniel's public response below contains private information about our wedding, venue, and personal life that was never meant to be shared publicly. This is unprofessional and breaches client privacy. My review focused only on the photography service and outcome, which did not meet the expected standard. The disclaimer he made is not true. My feedback isn’t about the weather. As a professional, I believe it’s part of his role to adapt and still capture the best possible moments. The additional hour we requested was specifically for our lunch party (12:00–13:00), so it was not a wrong assumption on my part. The lunch was offered generously as a nice gesture, to let him stay and enjoy the meal with us. Overall, I felt extremely disappointed that Nathaniel did not perform his job as expected. Nathaniel is an absolute superstar! We were so fortunate to have him capture our backyard wedding, and we are beyond thrilled with the magical memories that he has gifted us. Right from the start, communicating with him was a breeze - he is open, transparent, and authentically cares about providing a great service. The pre-photo shoot already gave us some amazing photos, and we immediately felt at ease with his warm nature and great sense of humour. Nathaniel even took the time to take family photos of my parents who were there to look after our toddler during the shoot. Then the wedding - no idea how he does what he does but Nathaniel is a ninja. Looking at the photos we have no idea how he could be in so many places at once for each of crucial moments. We cannot recommend Nat highly enough! He's not only an incredibly talented videographer but also a wonderful person to work with. We first met Nat at a wedding expo. We had originally planned to only hire a videographer since a friend was handling photography. Two weeks before our wedding, Nat reached out and offered us a complimentary video shoot at one of Perth's most stunning locations. That session was fantastic – not only did we get amazing footage, but it also gave us a chance to get comfortable with Nat before the big day. His guidance on positioning and posing resulted in truly spectacular shots. On our wedding day, we had a midday ceremony followed by an evening dinner. Despite rainy and windy weather, Nat was exceptional. From the moment he arrived, he captured every detail – us getting ready, the venue setup, and all the precious moments in between. He had a dedicated camera for the ceremony plus his handheld, ensuring nothing was missed. Nat went above and beyond by also taking photos at key moments, even though photography wasn't part of his contract. Honestly, the photos he captured turned out to be the best images we have from our day – crisp, beautifully colored, and perfectly composed. We wish we had hired him as our photographer too! One of our favorite moments is the video he captured of me with my groomsmen before seeing my wife in her wedding dress for the first time. That footage brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. Even more impressive – Nat found a perfect weather window during the day to capture the drone footage we thought would be impossible. The aerial shots of our venue are absolutely superb. From day one, Nat's communication was outstanding, his service was impeccable, and his warm personality made him feel like an old friend rather than a vendor. As a vendor with easy wedding for 6 years, I think I booked about 8 weddings through them - making them not viable at all. For what I paid in fees for advertising with them, I’m lucky to have broken even. Then their prices kept increasing so in the end I just gave up, as I knew I wouldn’t be breaking even anymore. Don’t get me wrong, the enquiries were incoming. But they seem to be fake - as all had the same context in their request. They hold special invite only events and only select a number of their ‘favourite’ vendors to attend. How is that fair 1. To all their other vendors that also pay to advertise with them & 2. The couples looking to book? Where is the choice of product/service? And couples are expected to pay $90 per head to attend? With limited resources available to them. Forever grateful to Nat and his accommodation of my impromptu request! I've been in touch with Nat before hand when he helped me and my friends with out Galentines photos while waiting for a client. For the first time, within minutes he was able to take the most dynamic and amazing photo of me when I honestly thought I wasn't photogenic at all up till that point. A lot of people can't take good photos of me half the time, which is because I'm pretty short. So when I needed a specialised headshot for my website portfolio, I knew he was the one to contact. Service was awesome: good communication, quick to reply. On the day I specified my needs (I had an animated butterfly that would float downwards as users scroll throughout the website, and I wanted to have a pose that would look like I was holding or interacting with the butterfly) and he was able to come up with a solution briefly but effectively. We are so happy to have hired Nathaniel as our photographer! From the start, communication was easy and friendly. We had a good first meet where Nathaniel would explain in detail what his service entails. We just felt comfortable and confident that he would do a great job, and we were not wrong. He produced some really good shots for us! He captured many "moments", many of them natural and not staged. Not only did he took many beautiful photos of the styling and venue, he also captured the true emotions of the guests present that day, which was exactly what we were looking for. After a year and many promises, I have to say that it was a waste of time and money. They don't offer any help to get any leads, unless you want to cancel the subscription, and even there, they take ages to do anything so that they can keep charging an extra month. Many colleagues agree that the positive reviews they have are fake, and I started believing that after this terrible experience. Highly recommend COMPLETE DJ as your wedding DJ. We had DJ Jannes and he was amazing from the get go. We especially liked that your catch ups could be in person so you got to see their warehouse and pick your equipment, we had a good chat getting to know what you like and running through their website portal to share your favourite music, had a meet up closer to the wedding so we felt completely at ease and he knew exactly what he was doing.
