My wife and I always have great PT sessions twice a week with Cathal Jennings. If you look at my previous reviews, they are 95% all about restaurants LOL. .. So we made a conscious decision to do PT before our belly is getting rounder and rounder.We started few months ago and I have to be honest, the first few sessions, I felt like my body was made of plastic. Great PT, terrible management.Started with Functional for Life about 2 months ago. The PT I was paired with was awesome and I got along with her great. Unfortunately she has left to go do other things and not once had anyone contacted me about what to do next and to find another PT to be paired with. I found my trainer Will Farrow tailored a great program to my 65 years and really enjoyed the sessions and additional info about ongoing 'homework' and nutrition. My company undertook 6 corporate group personal training sessions with Functional for Life, with Brandon as our trainer, and they were excellent! Each session provided a variety of weights and cardio exercises, which Brandon adapted to any injuries to our employees. The corporate group training was a great experience for our organisation, as it allowed all our employee's to come together, work as a team or provide a bit of fun competition. Wow what a team they have here.I've been using Functional For Life ever since the lockdowns as they offer corporate personal training services. We actively got the company involved where we sometimes all the staff got engaged with the sessions. Great fun all round. Coming out of lockdown, we went back into in person training which brought another element to their service. What inspired you to start your own business?
Firstly it was to help as many clients change their lives for the better with an approach that is holistic and creates long term sustainable change through science based training and educating our clients.
Secondly the average life span of a new personal trainer that enters the industry is 6 months. Think about how that affects the service that the average client receives and the variation in quality of that service.
We wanted to change this! Meaning that our clients would be working with trainers that are in the industry long term, are well educated and understand what they need to do to help clients achieve results. Our goals is to bring better personal training standards to clients and we are achieving that.
