What do you love most about your job?
As a wedding photographer, what I love most about my job is the ability to capture and preserve the unique and magical moments of one of the most important days in a couple's life. Each wedding is a story waiting to be told, and being able to tell that story through my lens is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy the creativity involved in using both natural and creative light to craft beautiful, whimsical images that couples will cherish forever. Additionally, the excitement and joy that permeate weddings make it an uplifting and fulfilling experience, as I get to be a part of such a significant and joyful celebration.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My inspiration to start my own business as a wedding photographer came from a combination of my passion for photography and my love for capturing special moments. Initially, I started my journey as a concert photographer, which allowed me to develop my skills and understand the importance of timing, lighting, and capturing emotions in real-time.
When I began shadowing as a second shooter at weddings, I discovered a deep passion for capturing the unique love stories of couples. Witnessing the magic, joy, and emotions of weddings inspired me to dedicate myself to this field. I wanted to provide couples with beautiful, artistic, and memorable photos and videos that they could cherish for a lifetime.
Starting my own business, New Hero Media, allowed me to combine my technical skills with my creative vision. It also gave me the freedom to work closely with couples, understand their stories, and create personalized and meaningful wedding photography and videography. The desire to offer professional, affordable, and artistic services while being a part of such a significant and joyful journey in people's lives drove me to establish my own business.
