What do you love most about your job?
An event could be the most special day of your life, a celebration in your business, a coming together - and I get to help facilitate your vision of that moment to make it both memorable and as easy as possible. Seeing people enjoying their own event is such a joyful experience, and one I am privileged to be a part of.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been on stage since I was 15 and have always had a passion for entertaining, facilitating events, and generally making people smile. My goal is to be the go-to emcee for weddings, events, corporate functions, gala dinners - because why wouldn't I want to meet incredible people doing amazing things and get to witness their special moment!
Why should our clients choose you?
With over 30 years on stage, I have a passion for making an event run as smoothly as I am possibly able. My deep resonant voice lends a presence to my presentation, along with a good sense of humour. But more importantly, I stick to the agenda and work to stay to the time schedule (which benefits the venue, the caterers, the guests, the staff, and the client). As emcee, I coordinate with the different role players to ensure an event with as little disruption as possible - because you want your event to be remembered for all the right reasons.

I'm Kevin Abbott, a wedding celebrant creating personal, heartfelt ceremonies for couples who want something genuine rather than generic. My approach is built on empathy, connection, with a touch of humour, so your ceremony reflects who you actually are as a couple, and your guests feel part of the moment rather than just looking on. Every aspect of the ceremony is written specifically for you, based on your story and relationship.
Please note that as a celebrant, I'm not a registered marriage officer, so your ceremony won't be legally binding on its own. I'll advise you on sorting the legal paperwork separately, so you can focus on the celebration itself. Get in touch to talk through your ceremony.
