OMG, where do I even begin. In December 2021, I experinced my first anxiety attack during a work meeting. I went on to experience my first panic attack later that day. Terrified by the loss of control over my own body and body, I began spiraling and wanting a sudden end to this hell that then became my life. I went to see a psychologist and was diagnosed with social anxiety and panic disorder. I was placed on antidepressants. I spent the next four years I therapy, was admitted into a wellness clinic at some point. In November 2025, I decided to come off the medication after dealing with horrible side effects. I was despondent and my body was tired of being in fight or flight mode for years, I was drained. I was still hellbent on finding a solution because I knew that what caused the anxiety attacks was that little negative voice in my head that I couldn't switch off. I thought i should try hypnotherapy and went onto Tik Tok and searched anxiety and hypnotherapy South Africa. A video of Desiree popped up on my screen. She described anxiety exactly how I thought it was, I just didn't know how to coin it into words. Something felt right about her videos and I immediately reached out to her. I booked a session with her in January 2026. A few weeks later, my whole world has transformed. The anxiety is gone!!!!!!! I no longer spend my time overthinking, ruminating, tossing and turning. The best gift I could have given myself at this point in my life. I was very skeptical that my problem could be tackled when I started. However as Desiree took me back in my life to try and understand my problem I already started seeing my problem with a new view. When we got to the hypnosis part I already had a clear picture of my shortfalls. I could clearly so the damage my problem was doing to my life. As we went through the session I was more than convinced I had to take the initiative and change my life style. What do you love most about your job?
The feeling of knowing that someone's life is better because they chose to work with me, hearing the responses and feedback after a few days... it feeds my soul...
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own struggles, I needed help with performance anxiety, and I needed it as in yesterday, I discovered rapid transformational therapy, and could not get a booking early enough, desperate for help, I registered to study RTT. I was thinking if I could just learn 1 thing, maybe something would click, and I'd be able to heal myself. Luckily once I got enrolled into the course, I met other students and graduates ?. One of the graduates offered me a session, and I grabbed it with both hands and feet. She hypnotized me, helped me find the root cause behind the anxiety and panic attacks, helped me heal those traumas on a deeper level, and she gave me a recording to listen to for a month. 3 days later I was a completely different person, as if I never had anxiety and panic attacks. My experience got me excited to study and qualify. During our practicals, we gave and received therapy, I healed even from issues I did not even know I had like, abandonment issues, people-pleasing, weight issues, confidence issues, procrastination, self-sabotage, imposter syndrome, PTSD, limiting beliefs, I quit smoking. Seeing how I was able to do a 360-degree change and live a life that I once thought was only a dream, is what makes me want to show and help others realize that it is possible, available, and achievable.
