Let’s face it. If you are reading these then your vision for life and the current reality aren’t exactly lining up.
But you’ve done everything right, so why is it all so wrong? Rob is a straight shooting, cut to the core performance coach for when singing ‘jesus take the wheel’ isn’t doing it for you anymore.

Rob will offer you new perspectives. Ones that are impossible to ignore and that make you think. He doesn’t shy away from difficult topics, he runs towards them. You will be uncomfortable and that’s ok. You are not alone in this journey. He will shine a light on the path and give you the tools you need to become the best version of yourself. Make no mistake, this is boot camp for your brain. It is hard. It is also 100% worth it and I can’t ever imagine going back.

Rob seems to have an innate talent of being able to see into people, and to truly understand what they are trying to say, even when I struggle to get the right words out. I always feel listened to. I’ve learned that change requires getting out of my comfort zone, and I find that Rob will gently push and guide me to where I have told him I want to go. There is no judgement, no should or should nots.

Although I am still a “work in progress” and believe I will be for every day of my life, I can say without hesitation that the overall quality of my life has greatly improved since working with Rob. I am more confident, and I’m simply amazed at how much my anxiety has decreased. I’ve asked for, and received, the raise, stuck with the workouts, booked the trip and worn that dress! I continue to work, fail (without beating myself up) set new goals and look forward with gratitude to all things life has to offer!

When someone told me I should try life coaching, I didn’t feel like it would be any different from counselling. I was glad I gave it a chance. It wasn’t about unpacking my past and not knowing what to do with it. It was about telling myself that my past is in my past and that what I choose to do or believe now is up to me.

Rob is genuine and tells you exactly how he thinks but with great sensitivity. Without him, I wouldn’t have found my love for life. I wouldn’t have found myself and loved myself enough to protect it from all the negative thoughts and all the toxic people/things in my life. It helps to have someone who can crawl into the trenches with you and show you the way out…. little by little.

Q&As

I enjoy helping people and watching people grow into the knowledge that they can be so much more than they thought.

We are designed to be in motion, driving towards our personal definition of success. Sometimes we can get bogged down with fear, anxiety and the demands of others OR we get sidetracked by our flaws or what we lack rather than improving what we have.

You don't need a better brain, or more luck, or less problems you need better tools to deal with what you have. I have a skill in helping people understand their relationships, physical and mental health. I can guide people towards the small steps each of us can take to become the person we dream to be.

Being part of my clients journey as they start to understand the tools and skills needed to be successful is a reward in itself.

My childhood taught me firsthand about dysfunction and resilience. Those early experiences gave me a deep understanding of challenging environments and a strong sense of justice. Thankfully, I was shown a different path by a few remarkable mentors who taught me the profound power of choice and motivation, lessons that have guided my life ever since.

For over two decades, I've walked diverse paths, from commodity lumber trading and entrepreneurship to being a stay-at-home dad and coaching national-level sports teams. Whether in the boardroom or on the field, my focus has always been the same: developing stronger individuals and more cohesive teams. I learned that true success in any field is built on a foundation of attitude, inclusive culture, and positive intention.
My Coaching Philosophy: Understanding & Empowerment

My background granted me a deep sense of empathy, non-judgment, and a practical understanding of personal accountability. I saw that our minds create stories based on our beliefs, and often, we need help rewriting the negative or limiting ones.

I guide people to understand their physical and mental well-being and take actionable, incremental steps to become the person they aspire to be. In many ways, I am a practitioner of behavioral change, seamlessly blending that with mental health support to help clients reframe their perspectives and build sustainable resilience.

This personal philosophy is why I am dedicated to providing the proactive, preventative support that helps people manage life's challenges and show up as their best selves at home and work.

I can help them build the life they want.
I can improve their relationships.
I care for my clients and their experience.
I don't sugar coat the problems

I believe in the transformative power of choice, empathy, and commitment. My mission is to help create environments where people and teams can not only succeed but truly thrive.

This personal philosophy is the foundation of WorkFit. It’s why I am dedicated to providing the proactive, preventative support that helps employees manage life's challenges and show up as their best selves at work.
