What inspired you to start your own business?
We noticed that many people, homeowners, builders, and developers, were struggling with building permit processes and didn't know where to turn for guidance. That’s what motivated us to start GTA Building Permits. We wanted to create a reliable service that offers everything under one roof: architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC drawings, construction financing, and even full project execution. It’s about making things easier and more accessible for our clients.

Yes, we absolutely can. Most of our services can be delivered remotely, which means we work with clients all across Ontario, even if they never need to step into our office. You can share your sketches, surveys, or ideas with us via email or Zoom, and we’ll prepare accurate CAD or Revit drawings for your permits. We also handle online submissions and correspondence with city departments on your behalf, keeping everything efficient and stress-free.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Health and safety have always been a priority for us. Since Covid-19, we’ve shifted most of our operations online to limit in-person meetings. For site visits, we follow strict safety protocols including wearing masks, using sanitizer, and maintaining social distancing. Most consultations, updates, and document submissions are done remotely, making the entire process safer and more convenient for everyone involved.
