Superb service from Ashley's including a quote based on photos at a very reasonable price. The tree, a Manitoba maple, had grown to encroach on the fences of two neighbours. They removed it down to the stump without leaving anything behind or in the neighbouring yards. We had one large tree which had to be removed on our property. We chose Ashleys because of their good reviews on HomeStars and their competitive pricing. They came immediately to view the tree, and helped with obtaining the permits. The first weekend the weather cleared, they were here on time, and did a fantastic job. The tree was massive and situated between a house, driveway, and cable lines - none of which were damaged. I contacted Ashley's Tree Care for a tree removal and pruning service, and within in a week they had sent me a quote and a crew came out to do the work. The crew was extremely professional and detail oriented. I would definitely recommend them to my family/friends and anyone who is looking for professional tree services in the Greater Toronto Area. So I had 2 small trees that needed to be removed and one large tree that had been leaning towards my home but was in good shape(so it didn’t need to be removed). I contacted Ashley’s Tree Care and they sent an Arborist over the same day to have an assessment completed. The Arborist was extremely informative and explained that we could install a cable system to prevent the tree from further leaning towards my home. At the same time they provided me with a very reasonable price to removed my two unwanted small trees. Once I paid my deposit, they had a crew out within the same week I had got my quote. Work was completed in a day and I was extremely satisfied. In all, my experience with the crew and the office staff was very good. This is the second time I’ve called Ashley’s Tree Care for some tree services. The first time was trimming and pruning on my trees and everything went smoothly and I was pleased with the work. I called them this year again because I wanted to remove a dead tree in my backyard and they were able to assist me just as quickly as last time. They obtained all the permits for me and had the work done within the same week we received the permit. Price was very reasonable considering they took care of all the permits and applications, and also explained to me the whole process. Ashley's Tree Care staff, from Management and Office Staff to Tree Climber and Crew were all fantastic. They gave us very competitive prices, were able to provide the services fairly fast, to the great satisfaction of both ourselves and our neighbours (who wanted a large dead limb of our tree overlooking their property cut so it would not hurt them or their property). They gave us insurance proofs upon request, they removed the dead stem very nicely, cutting it exactly as needed, so that it did not peel off any bark off the tree, in order to preserve the still living part of the tree in good health. They cleaned up nicely after each job. In addition to removing the dead stem, they also pruned the dead branches from the remaining still living part of the tree and raised the canopy so it would no longer be in contact with a roof. They also tied a cobra cable around the remaining stems of the tree to make it less likely that the tree's limbs could fall down during high wind storms. They were always on time, always neat, and always caring towards our tree. They were considerate of our neighbours' property when they had to enter it with our neighbours' permission, too. They also gave us receipts for all payments. They never tried to overcharge us but were very fair in their pricing. We highly recommend them to all who need good tree care, and we are very happy we found them to help our tree and our neighbours. Our tree still looks beautiful, in spite of one stem gone. I called Ashley Tree Care to complete some pruning and removal of several small to medium trees . Once the contract was set, the same out within a week and completed the service. Ilias and Juan were great! They explained the pruning process to me and ensured that the most care was taken to keep the tree healthy. They did the work quickly and cleaned up the work area. I had a large blue spruce tree that was knocked down in the wind storm. The tree landed on my neighbours house. It was impossible to get through to any Arborist as they were all in high demand. Ashley took my call and came to look at the tree the same day. He provided me with the options and a quote on the spot. He was upfront with the work required and prioritized my tree as an emergency. Once the job was accepted he gave me a time for when the crew would arrive and they arrived on time as promised. The crew was friendly and professional, they removed the tree and cleaned up the site appropriately without any further damage. It is rare to have tradespeople perform work on time and on budget and Ashley's crew did a fantastic job. I had two dying trees and one knocked over in the windstorm. They were very large trees. They came and removed them all as well as the stumps. The crew was curteous and professional. The only issue is that they cut my cable internet service but I don't think this was on purpose as the cable is burried, hidden and near the tree.All in all the work was done and done well. Ashley responded very quickly, quoted a reasonable price and provided excellent advice on the work needed on 2 mature backyard trees: pruning, elevating the canopy, thinning & balancing the crown, removing dead branches with disposal & cleanup included. My neighbors and I share a number of trees. With these trees, two are shared with one neighbor and one with two neighbors. With the one tree shared between the three of us, animals were using it as a walkway to my roof.After seeing an advertisement in a community paper from Ashley's Tree Care, I spoke with my neighbor about having our two trees dealt with (they had to be removed) and with the larger tree affecting the three of us. I contacted Ashley's Tree Care, and they were very prompt in providing us with a very competitive quote and a date for when the work could be performed.On the day Ashley's Tree Care came to take care of the three trees, we revised the scope of the work to allow for less pruning - which was not a problem. Ashley's Tree Care provided extremely thorough pruning services for a tree that is in my neighbour's backyard, but overhangs into mine. The tree was an unruly beast (grr, Manitoba Maples!), but they were very careful in making sure the tree was pruned properly and thoroughly, especially considering the arborists had to work through a number of utility cables that also run through our yard and the tree branches get all tangled in. I was impressed by Ashley's Tree Care from the moment I called them. They were prompt in providing a quote, responding to my questions, and they also followed up prior to appointments. They provided excellent customer service and are all-around professional. Moreover, the pruning of the tree by Ian & Glenn was careful and they took several painstaking hours to complete it, during which their attention to detail did not diminish. After the work was completed, they ensured that my property was free of debris and they even made sure the road was free of debris from the mulcher! Needed a Silver Maple removed in the backyard. It was leaning towards the backyard where kids play and was potentially dangerous because it could m fall on the shed. The removal required a permit, so they helped me with all the paperwork and provided an Arborist report. When I got the permit the tree was removed within a day.
