100% best experience ever. I have a 15 month 110lbs Giant Schnauzer - Aarie, big, stubborn, mind of his own and super smart. Amit was the 3rd trainer I worked with and can only wish I had found him earlier. From the intake call Amit was knowledgeable, and truly interested in understanding the dog and what we had done, what had worked and what hadn't. Amit took the time to understand all my puppy's quirks and nuances and then customized each session for him. Most importantly he taught me what to do and how, how to control this guy and not let him push me around. Amit isn't just about training the dog hes about understanding the dogs behavior and helping me do whats right for my dog, his sessions are not cookie cutter. He helped me figure out his dietary issues (Aarie was on raw and was getting sick so we now have him on some great raw kibble options). Amit was always there when we had the odd question in between sessions, he always checked in after every class. At the end of our sessions if Amit said I needed more sessions I would have happily signed up, but this tells you he's a class apart and truly passionate about his skill and profession; he clearly said he had done almost everything he could and saw tremendous improvement with Aarie as did I so he will check in with me every month and then if I want a one off refresher we can do it. Amit was an absolutely amazing trainer. He was brilliant and beyond knowledgeable. He was also very down to earth, kind and caring. Myself and my Husband came to Amit with our 2 German Shepherds . One of them was pretty laid back, Bo, but neeeded a little work, and the other was Hank, our terrified 2 year old who we rescued from being euthanized due to severe reactivity and bite history. He was severely abused, starved , and left alone to fend for himself. Amit guided us through steps to help Hank get over his fear of people and help control his reactivity. He did training classes with us via video/facetime (we live out of province )and he was there for us through phone calls and text whenever we had questions or needed anything any time of the day. He gave us all the knowledge and tools to help us help our dog. Even after our training was complete he still reached out to us to check in. Today, Hank is a completely different dog. He is happy, loving, and playful and just enjoys being a dog. We can go on normal walks together without panic, and his anxiety and fear is gone. During Oscar’s training, I realized that a handler’s understanding is more important than the dog itself. The session taught me how my approach and clarity directly shape his behavior. Amit was extremely knowledgeable about dog training and dog behaviour. My puppy bella was two months old when we started training. She’s come a very long way thanks to Amit. We met Amit after he was recommended to us by our neighbours, and we started working together when our husky mix puppy was just over 3 months old. My husband and I both had family dogs growing up, but our puppy is our time owning one together. We wanted to work with a trainer to ensure we had a strong foundation to raise our puppy right. Right from the start (even before we met), it was clear that Amit is truly invested in the well-being of both dog and owner. Since our pup was young, we started with the very basics in terms of obedience and worked our way up to leash training. Amit's calm demeanor made training sessions easy to understand / follow directions, and he is excellent at providing feedback as you work through learning the steps. He was very willing to meet us where we were at in terms of knowledge we had vs things we hadn't even considered. He checked in often to see if we had questions, wanted to take a step back and review previous sessions, or just talk through concerns or anything that felt relevant. It has been a pleasure working with Amit for my puppy’s training. With his tutelage and guidance my puppy is a very well behaved little fella for 5 months old and responds so well to all the techniques shown. He also loves his trainer to pieces and is excited every time he sees him. Amit was able to plan lessons specifically for our situation and needs, which helped tremendously and is easily reachable is something should arise in between training lessons to address it then rather than wait for the lesson to arrive. We found Amit through bark.com and the service we received was beyond our expectations. We explained that we have a large Doberman mix (80 lbs) that was struggling with leash pulling, over excitement, and nervousness around strangers. In just 3 training sessions, we saw noticeable and long lasting results. Our dog learned how to walk by our side, to not run out the front door when we open it, and a “go to bed” command which has been extremely helpful in multiple situations. Amit was a very good listener and offered a lot of great advice including tips on separation anxiety. Ace Canine Academy was the best decision i’ve made for my dogs! My older dog was not happy with the arrival of our new puppy and would snap and growl even if our puppy looked at him. Amit was amazing. Our new Aussie puppy Arlo is our first dog and we really had no idea where to start but we knew we wanted to be able to be the best owners possible for our new family member. Amit provided us with the foundations we needed to provide obedience training. Even where we thought we knew something, Amit was able to provide subtle tweaks to our methods which guided us perfectly. We had an amazing experience working with Amit who helped trained our new Aussie puppy Arlo. We knew we wanted to start training Arlo right away but we didn’t really know where to start.

Amit provided the foundations we needed to start this long journey of training. His experience was really helpful to show us the correct techniques in training and we learned that there really is a level of consistency required to teach each behaviour to Arlo. But we are well on our way thanks to Amit.

Arlo is sitting, staying in his place, loose leash walking, and is slowly learning to heel, and we are working on his recall. We still have a long we to go, but Amit has set us up for success and we will definitely reach out to Amit for future training needs with Arlo the Aussie. We just finished our 5 sessions with Emit of Ace Academy and are extremely pleased with the results.
Our Rescue Dog, a Border Collie and still a puppy has benefited tremendously from his friendly approach and knowledge. Emit was always on time for our in-house training sessions and never rushed us. Amit is the best!
Was skeptical of trying to find someone through Bark, but he was the only one to reply. And I don't think it was even 12 hours after. He gave us really good pricing for such good quality help! We have completed Remys training and honestly I am so thankful.
We have a (at the time 5 month) puppy who's a German Shepard/Boxer mix. She is super high energy and can sometimes lack focus, as puppies do. But Amit came and showed her exactly who was boss. From day 1 we saw improvements. She already new the basic; sit, come, paw, and a little bit of stay. But Amit showed us how to use everything to our full advantage. He actually become one of Remys favourite people.
We had weekly lessons, and after the lesson he would send us "homework" to practice with Remy incase anything was forgotten. He was unbelievably thorough and made sure we understood what needed to be done. He was even able to help incorporate our 2 year old child into training.
Now Remy has all the foundations to become such a good dog. We have been practicing all of our lessons and the difference in Remy is night and day. Overall, this was 100% worth every penny and I can't reccomend him enough!
