Photography has been chiefly the background of my career since I graduated from the International Center of Photography (ICP), NYC, in 1999. Over the decades, I've done commercial assignments from ads to editorials, from industrial to theatrical productions, from people-in-situ to corporate and private portraits, and from in-studio to on-location and street photography. But it has to be the COVID-19 pandemic that made me rethink. Especially in post-pandemic Singapore, online social presence has become more needed than ever. I enjoy capturing magical moments of people as I interact with them. So now more than ever, I find it compelling to make a career switch – to headshot photography.

My clients need to be present for the photo shoot, which is a one-on-one session. Since most of them are regular individuals, not professional models, I'll guide them with expressions and poses to ensure the best angles in the photos. Professional cameras and lighting equipment are also used for the shoot.
