Position Five Private Limited

Position Five assisted french broadcast company, Amp Visual in the live telecast for Singapore F1 Grand Prix on Canal+. We worked with the Amp Visual team to run fiber optic cables across the paddock, track and to the main TV compound. We also assisted in the setup of the wireless infrastructure to ensure that the broadcast was seamless.

Position Five continues to be Amp Visual’s preferred vendors and will continue to be so for the upcoming years.

This has been on of the most technically advanced projects which we worked on as it steered us away from our conventional livestream format. We have learnt so much from the lovely team at Amp Visual such as the importance of assigned channel frequencies as well as low latency communication between location and broadcast studio.

The experience has been so eye opening for us and we have made a lot of new friends from this project.

Position Five facilitated and produced multiple livestream productions for Prudential Singapore.

We executed a two-way dual location stream ensuing that both parties could see and interact with each other at all times. We also managed all technical and AV aspects of this event, making sure that audiences both online and offline can enjoy this wonderful event together. Position Five is Prudential’s preferred vendor for all town halls, as well as AV productions.
Position Five had to work around using our own source of internet connection, we did ISP aggregation to ensure that our internet connection will be stable and have decent speeds to ensure that there would be little latency throughout the stream. We also had to ensure smooth two way communications between the venues and also make sure that the people watching from home could enjoy the experience together.

Position Five collaborated with BCUBE Live Sound and Productions to pull off this 8-camera livestream setup. Over two weekends, we streamed Our Tampines Hub Jazz Festival featuring over 20 bands. We ensured that the bands had enough coverage as some of them were orchestras. We also had to work closely with all the backline and show managers as the bands were playing back to back and we needed to ensure that the stream was seamless and entertaining.

This was one of the few times we did an outdoor stream. We had to brave bad rainy weather as well as long cables runs, of over 100 meters. We also had to ensure that the stream could be seen on the scoreboard located at the back of the stadium so that it could be seen by everyone attending the festival.

Vanessa was the main video switcher for this stream as she was in her element due to her musical background. She ensured that the cameras were featuring the musicians who were playing and emphasised on their solo sections.

Position Five conceptualised, built and executed four exhibition booths throughout the months of October - March 2024. We worked closely with Medtronic’s branding guidelines and global design intent to bring the booths to life. Taking into consideration the brand’s new electric blue, decorating the booths with LED strips as well as LED wall to feature their various products.

We had to work very closely with the Medtronic team in the USA to fit their criterias. The majority of the booth’s furnitures had to be custom built with a 3D mockup to help the clients as well as our carpentry team visualise the final product.

We had to pay close attention to branding and details to ensure that the booth were aesthetically pleasing while still being functional and practical.

Position 5 facilitated and produced the live stream setup for ArtScience Museum - which included 3 callers calling in from the comfort of their own homes as well as a single moderator who was in a studio.

This 2-Day hybrid event was extremely well received by the public and garnered more support for gamers and streamers in Singapore. We also designed the overlays and lower thirds for all speakers.

Being avid gamers ourselves, we were very excited to be apart of this online event. As this happened during the second circuit breaker, the event was quickly shifted to a full online event where the speakers needed to dial into our broadcast software, Vmix.

We needed to ensure that callers could dial in with no issues especially if their offices have VPN or firewalls. We provided all speakers with a specific guide on how to call into vmix and help them to troubleshoot their call during the event.

Position 5 is proud to have produced Amazon Black Friday Sale comedy Special, featuring Rishi Budhrani and Sharul Channa. Working closely with Blk J under an extremely tight deadline.

As this was a comedy special, we shot it in a multicam format where we worked with 4 RED Komodos and 2 RED Geminis to ensure that we captured the action both on stage and back stage. We also had to handle post production which proved challenging as we had to deal with different video formats for Youtube, Instagram and Tiktok.

We had to work within a very tight deadline, given only about two week for pre production, we had to source for locations, props as well as pick out the correct camera gear for this project.

We produced a video for Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s 60th Anniversary. We featured the student ambassadors from the various schools within Ngee Ann Polytechnic, teaching and admin staff as well as the NP’s Water Polo Team.

This video was shot over 3 days as we worked with Ngee Ann’s internal communications committee to produce a heartwarming and upbeat video, celebrating Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s achievements.

Alphabeast had just opened a new branch of their gym and needed some publicity for their location as well as their trainers.
We produced a series of videos for the instagram page while capturing their real customers with true testimonials. The videos showcased the workouts, equipment and various coaches in their training sessions.
