I love being able to help customers to create their dream home. There's a real, tangible sense of satisfaction seeing a clients reaction to a finished product.
Developing my skills while practicing in other design firms really made the decision easy, but it was the ability to freely control the outcomes for clients that inspired the new business.
I think clients should choose a professional they gel with. Designing and building a new home isn't done over days or weeks; it usually takes months to years for a project to be completely finished. That's a long time for a client to be dealing with someone professionally. I always tell my clients that you need to feel comfortable working with someone, which is why I like to meet with my clients often to ensure the professional relationship is maintained.
