Cameron Leo is a corporate magician, mentalist and keynote speaker, performing for conferences, gala dinners, awards nights, leadership events and private corporate functions across Australia. His work combines mind reading, psychological magic, audience interaction and impossible predictions to create moments that guests genuinely talk about after the event. Cameron has performed for brands including Tiffany and Co., Telstra, Foxtel, Disney and Origin Energy, and is regularly booked by event planners seeking entertainment that feels intelligent, engaging and different from the usual corporate act. This background gives his performances and keynote presentations a unique point of difference, with a strong focus on reading people, influence, pressure, decision-making and the way people think. For corporate events, Cameron can deliver close-up magic and mind reading during drinks, roving entertainment between courses, a feature stage performance, or a short conference energiser designed to lift the room and reset attention. His keynote presentations explore resilience, decision-making under pressure and staying calm when things do not go to plan. Drawing on real stories from policing, Cameron combines practical takeaways with live psychological demonstrations, creating a presentation that is engaging, useful and very different from a standard corporate talk. Whether the brief calls for a corporate magician, a mentalist, a keynote speaker, or a combination of entertainment and message, Cameron can tailor the experience around the event, audience and run sheet. Seller avatar for Andy Nunn

ServesSydney, NSW
High-performing teams do not fail because they lack intelligence. They fail because pressure distorts perception. Andy Nunn helps leaders and teams recognise the hidden biases, assumptions, and reactive patterns that quietly undermine performance when the stakes are high. A keynote speaker, professional mentalist, and former high-performance sales coach, Andy has worked with brands including Google, Amazon, and Sony. His keynote, Mind The Gap, combines behavioural science, audience interaction, and live demonstrations to show people exactly how their thinking can be hijacked in real time and how to make better decisions when it matters most. Audiences learn how to: • improve decision-making under pressure • spot bias and flawed assumptions earlier • communicate more clearly and influence more effectively • stay composed in uncertainty and rapid change • create better outcomes through sharper thinking This keynote is ideal for leadership teams, conferences, sales events, and organisations that need people to think clearly, communicate well, and perform under pressure. If you want more than inspiration, if you want a keynote that is engaging, commercially relevant, and immediately useful, Andy Nunn delivers.

What do local magician hire services include?

Finding the right magician depends on your event's specific needs. Professionals can tailor their service, but packages generally fall into these categories:

1. Close-Up & Party Magicians

This is your all-rounder service, perfect for 18ths, 21sts, 40th birthdays, engagement parties, or any private function. This style of magic is often called strolling or mingle magic, as the performer moves among your guests, creating mini-shows for small groups. It’s the perfect ice-breaker and gets everyone talking.

A party magician package typically includes:

  • In-the-hands magic (using cards, coins, and borrowed objects).
  • Mind-reading and mentalism.
  • Performing for small groups during a drinks reception or party.
  • Interacting with guests and creating a buzz.
  • Extras can often be added, such as a special trick for the guest of honour.

2. Wedding Magician Services

This is a premium, specialised service for your big day. A wedding magician does more than just tricks; they help manage the "lulls" in the day, keeping guests entertained while you're busy. It's a comprehensive service designed to make your celebration seamless and unforgettable.

A wedding magician can perform at key moments, such as:

  • During the photos: Keeping guests entertained at the drinks reception.
  • During the wedding breakfast: Performing table-to-table magic between courses.
  • As part of the evening reception: To kick off the party and get guests mixing.

3. Corporate Event Magicians

If you're launching a product, hosting an awards night, or planning a Christmas party, this specialised service is essential. It's designed to provide a professional and sophisticated atmosphere that reflects your brand.

Corporate magicians can perform strolling magic for networking events or a full stage show for all your guests. This service can often be tailored to incorporate your company's branding, product, or key message directly into the magic.

4. Children's Party Entertainers

Celebrating a birthday? A children's magician ensures the event is safe, fun, and memorable, with age-appropriate comedy magic and high-energy interaction. This also applies to other large-scale events like school fairs or family fun days, giving you peace of mind that the entertainment is handled professionally.

These packages often include:

  • A fun-filled, interactive magic show.
  • Balloon modelling.
  • Games and puppets.

Planning a second wedding with a post ceremony dinner for only 28 in a private room for dinner, I started to panic and worry that the evening may seem dull and boring. As a surprise for my future husband I searched for a Magician to sprinkle some magic over our evening and boy did he deliver. Drew was easy to communicate with, yet, after a bit of back and forth and a phone call I knew I left the rest to Drew. Together, we decided that for our intimate event in a long room with an 8.4m long table, that roving magic would be the most entertaining and engaging. I asked Drew if he thought he would be able, in a short space of time, to steal away the groom and hopefully 2 others to quickly teach a magic trick for them to then bring back to our guests to perform. Having the groom and 2 beloved members of our evening stand up and perform "A show" made our evening so much more personable and about us and our guests. The engagement and laughter from our guests was just wonderful. Drew taught the tricks relatively quickly and well to allow our trio of unsuspecting magicians (it was a surprise none of the 3 new were happening). I am so incredibly grateful that I engaged Drew. He knocked it out of the park, wowing our guests with up close magic, but then standing back and allowing his unsuspecting trio to quickly upskill and steal the show. Our room was dark blue, moody and modern with theatrical dark burgundy velvet table cloth and a riotous 7m sunset coloured floral centerpiece. Drew dressed fittingly and took up the drama and fun to the next level. We could not recommend Drew more.

Hiring a magician FAQs

According to the latest Bark research, on average a magician costs $400, however pricing is set by the individual magic professionals and can vary based on your location, the date (e.g., Saturdays or New Year's Eve are often more), the duration of your event, and the style of performance required (e.g., a stage show is often more than strolling magic). The best way to know is to request free quotes through Bark and you'll then receive pricing directly from local professionals.
