Not only do I get to spend my time listening to some of the greatest songs in history, but I get to meet a huge range of people. Every event is different. No two weddings are the same and corporate events can be absolutely riotous! Birthdays are some of my favourite parties to work with as you get to be a part of such an amazing diversity of styles.
I began by being into music more than most people as a teen. I realised I had a love for every genre and there didn’t seem to be anything I didn’t like or appreciate. I then purchased some music software and began mashing up songs. I shared them with my friends and they all loved it. I would then always be the one in charge of selecting music for car rides or house parties and it grew from there. I was a solo DJ for the first time at university and started working at the local bars and clubs. I fell in love with it. I was asked by a friend to work his Christmas party and that’s how it became a full-time job for me.
This event is your event. I’m here to act as MC, making sure the atmosphere is perfect and assisting you in crafting a brilliant time for all. Not everyone realises just how important music is to an event, even if it’s in the background and no one is dancing. It’s my job to cover those bases for you. I’m totally flexible with requests and will always run through the setlist and timings of the event with you beforehand. You don’t want the most active songs when people are primed for a slow dance. Music can help guide an event and I’m here to help you.

Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! DJ Sammy and his crew turned my 50th into the best party ever,hands down. From the moment they arrived, the communication was flawless, the setup was next-level, and the atmosphere they created was unreal. The lighting transformed the room, the music kept everyone dancing all night, and every song request was played seamlessly, no awkward gaps, just smooth transitions and perfect energy. We even got to see ourselves up on the TV at the DJ booth throughout the night, such a fun touch! They provided a highlight video afterwards too, which perfectly captured all the best moments. The microphones were spot-on for speeches and singalongs (and there were plenty of those!), making everyone feel like part of the show. And to top it all off, the price was incredibly reasonable — way below what others on Bark quoted, yet the quality was above and beyond anything we expected. DJ Sammy followed with an electrifying set that fused techno, house, and upbeat dance music, creating a pulse that kept the dance floor packed all night. His mixing was seamless, his track selection modern and tasteful, and his beats carried the perfect tempo to keep the energy at its peak.
