We were disappointed with our experience. She suggested a sunrise shoot for better lighting, but unfortunately most of the photos turned out very dark, making us look dull and unflattering. She gave us more photos than the package and highlighted that as a bonus, but unfortunately, the quality was not there many of the selected shots even had our eyes closed. Marlize is an amazing children’s photographer! I booked a cake smash for my daughter’s first birthday and from the outset communication was so easy and lovely. I have two older children who had cake smash shoots for their first birthdays with another photographer but this session was my favourite by far as I was made to feel so comfortable. The studio is warm and inviting and Marlize even includes a selection of adorable outfits and headbands to perfectly match the theme in the session price. Marlize is not only an incredible photographer, but she is a lovely, helpful and all round amazing person that you want by your side on your wedding day! ! Marlize takes the most stunning photos you could ever imagine, but she is also there by your side for whatever you need! I felt so calm and at ease when Marlize arrived because nothing was too difficult for her! Marlize was absolutely amazing! She is friendly and helpful and an absolute joy to work with! She made the whole process seamless and easy. Marlize was very professional with the shoot. She met with us before our wedding to discuss what we wanted and she listened to our specific requests. I especially loved that she was not intrusive and didn't get in the way of our special day, but instead gave us space to enjoy being in the moment, and yet still produced amazing pictures! Marlize was also extremely flexible and accommodating and went above and beyond to help us capture all our special moments, even though our schedule was somewhat unusual and we went overtime. I am over the moon with the beautiful photos that Marlize managed to capture of my children and I. One of my three was extremely uncooperative and I truly didn't expect a single nice photo with or of that kiddo at all.
