You don't need to second-guess on your decision with hiring Jay for your event.I'll tell you why: Jay's incredibly professional with his communications, demeanour on- and off-stage as well as his entire performance. I was looking for a magician to perform for my workplace farewell gathering and out of a handful of magicians, Jay was the first one who responded to me. I knew from the get-go I was in good hands.But I didn't know much about magic shows so I didn't know what to expect much to be honest. So when Jay showed up on the day, he was prompt and he was very in-control and well-practised with his setup, tricks and crowd work.I actually had the space to tune out from being an organiser for my own gathering and be an audience member.Jay brought much needed levity and joy to the workplace all whilst keeping it very work-appropriate and friendly!For those who are in the same position as myself, he did a few card tricks and had a few simple props with incredible misdirection (read: magic). The mentalism bit astounded lots of folks.Safe to say, it's been a week since his performance and my colleagues are still raving about it!Jay charges incredibly reasonable prices! I'd say a bit of feedback would be to hike the prices up a little considering he brings all his own equipment, travels to the venue himself and invoices clients himself!I really look forward to seeing Jay on bigger and grander stages. Jay attended my sisters sit down 30th birthday dinner party and was such a hit! It was a surprise for my sister and the guests and so their reactions were 10/10 when they found out we had a magician!
