Bandra Family Court is situated at a prominent location. i.e at BKC. Its well connected via local train, bus and other public transports. There is ample space for Car parking inside and outside. Cases related to Family Law like Divorce, Child custody, Mutual Consent Divorce, Maintenance /Alimony, Injuction, Cases related to Guardianship etc etc are filed here. Most of the staff members and Advocates are good, helpful and working is smooth. There are seven Court rooms along with Counselling rooms, mediation centre, children place, stress management centre etc etc. Case Filing is done on the first floor. Court rooms are small with old furnitures. The Bar Association room for Advocates is on the 5th Floor. Lift facility is there and the premises is wheelchair friendly. Infrastructure wise its an old building & lacks proper ventiliation, space, seats etc but perhaps this would shift to a new building soon. Mobile Network is very bad inside the premises, Stationery & Photocopy/ Print shops are nearby. More...

This important building is the workplace and the court of the honorable judges who decide on family matters, marriages and disputes. High time these premises were renovated. Needs a proper update and thorough clean up. Staff are extremely helpful but the building is in tatters. It would definitely affect the morale and the mindset of the important people who work there! Imagine trying to counsel people, make such important judgements in such an environment... How can you remain positive with everything so dirty and so dishevelled! More...
