I have an outstanding skillset and life and business experience both as counsellor but also as a life and business coach. COUNSELLING: In my private counselling practice, I support individuals with various personal concerns, couples with relationship challenges, parents and step-parents facing obstacles, families seeking to improve their family dynamics and LGBTQ individuals battling with stigma, trauma and discrimination. Counselling is a safe and confidential space free of judgement, in which you can freely explore aspects of your identity, sexuality, relationships, family, past experiences, parenting or step-parenting, grief and loss, trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and other experiences. The aim of therapy is to find new perspectives on sometimes difficult life’s challenges, which empowers you to move forward in a more positive and meaningful way. Other changes accelerated by counselling include new awareness of feelings, newly found resilience to cope with problems and negative emotions, and new decisions about your life. LIFE COACHING AND BUSINESS COACHING: I work with action takers who are redefining their definition of success and who are determined to become authentic in their personal and professional lives. In my coaching, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT and SFT and NLP techniques but mostly we dive deeper into the root causes of their limiting beliefs and fear. Previously I started businesses on a shoe-string budgets and within two years built them into 6 figure businesses, attracting clients from all over the world, including Hollywood names and Fortune 500 companies. I know how to start, build and grow a business and I enjoy coaching on businesses.

What do you love most about your job?

The best part of my working with clients is to see the change they needed and achieving their goals.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Since early childhood I had an outstanding career and have always been a leader. It was natural for me to start my business where I can constantly develop myself, my success and set my own high standards in how I work with my clients. I worked with Hollywood names, Luxury goods gods, FORTUNE 500 companies and many outstanding entrepreneurs from all over the world. Their feedback of me was always the same: outstanding. So I took it to heart and did my own thing, on my terms. I coached many clients on this as well.

Why should our clients choose you?

Before I became a life coach and a counsellor, I have personally overcome many challenges that I help my clients with today. This means, I know what it feels like sitting on the other side of help.
I offer my clients a wide range of services, online courses, one on one sessions where they feel heard and understood and I also lead group sessions and workshops on relevant topic such as relationships, anxiety, depression, mindfulness, family and parenting, sexuality and others.
In addition to conventional evidence based interventions such as CBT, SFT, MBSR, ACT technieus, I also incorporate Buddhist psychology where it suits the client's needs.
My clients love working for me as I bring a lot of compassion, insight and I walk the talk which often inspires them to find their own courage and their authentic self.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I use Zoom, Skype or FaceTime for my counselling and coaching sessions. I also provide affordable online courses for those who can’t afford or aren’t ready for one on one sessions.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

My sessions are affordable and online so my customers see me for sessions from the comfort of their homes.

Counselling FAQs

Expand all

Your expert Counsellor will be able to advise you on the full range of services available and will be able to advise on what is most suitable. Use Bark to get free quotes and schedule an appointment today.

At your appointment, you will be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions with a trained Counsellor who will listen and support you without judging or criticising.
The therapist can help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes and find your own solutions to problems. However, they will not usually give advice or tell you what to do. The Counsellor might sum up what they understand you have been saying so that they can help you to form a plan of action.

Counselling can take place in a number of ways. These include:

  • Face to face session

  • Group session

  • Phone session

  • Email session

  • Online through live chat services or video conferencing software

You may be offered a single session of Counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.

It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your Counsellor.

You can be confident that any of the Bark local Counsellors listed will give you a reliable and efficient service to help you feel better.

You could look for Counsellors that are accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) which means that they have met the PSA’s required professional standards to practise.

Before you choose a Counsellor, you could read testimonials and read details of the issues they can help with on their website.

You could also look at their profile page on Bark and check out reviews from past customers too.

Counselling can help with many issues. These include the following:

  • Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or eating disorders.

  • Physical health conditions such as infertility.

  • Difficult life events such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress.

  • Dealing with difficult emotions such as low self-esteem or anger.

  • Sexual identity issues.

  • Divorce.

  • Redundancy and work issues.

  • Phobias and fears.

Absolutely! Many Counsellors provide their services remotely via an online video call or the telephone. Not only is it more convenient, but it's also the preferable option for many people who would feel more comfortable holding the session from the comfort of their own home.
