Not your typical fitness professional… More than 14 years of experience, combined with a PhD in Biology, lead me to look at the human body differently, as one engine moving multiple levers in unison. As any engine, it needs fuel and eventually it will need to cool down. Overuse it or misuse it and parts can break, they can get loose or stuck, with at times dramatic consequences. Sport performance and wellness are a multidisciplinary science combining exercise, nutrition and recovery strategies. By training, my analytical brain focuses on movement quality, be for any level athletes or fitness fans. My goal is for them to move better, more safely, skillfully and efficiently. While body mechanics, strength, balance, and agility are paramount, proper nutrition and helping the body heal through breathing, mobility, and soft tissue manipulation are also essential to improve performance and wellbeing. My success with clients stems from result oriented training plans that are truly customized to meet their personal goals, develop healthy lifestyles and a sense of wellbeing.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

The most important part is establishing rapport and trust. I care about my clients when I am with them and when they are on their own. In addition to a fully personalized program, I will provide motivation and accountability.
Programs start with movement quality as a main focus. Moving well, breathing properly, using the body adequately are important not only for injury prevention, but also for any fitness goals.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Consistency is paramount for exercise, diet, recovery, habit forming and any factors essential to reach your goals.

What do you love most about your job?

It is extremely rewarding to help my clients achieve if not go beyond their goals, to show them what their body can do when treated appropriately.

What inspired you to start your own business?

With the pandemic, my clients discovered the convenience, ease and comfort of exercising at home. They can practice more consistently and get better, faster results. In addition, seeing them at home in person or remotely helps me with identifying factors than potentially affect the outcome.

I am not the typical fitness professional. My scientific background has helped me over the last 14 years to study, understand and apply that knowledge of how the human body works. You will only reap the benefits of my ongoing learning of this incredible machine we live in.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

For my in person clients, I am fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19. I will wear a mask if required. My own equipment is kept clean at all time. As a scientist, I take very seriously all CDC guidelines regarding viruses or other pathogens.
