How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Through custom nutrition, exercise, and habit programs tailored to their exact needs and their schedule. Our goal is to meet our clients where they are and teach them exactly what they need to know to lose fat, tone up, and transform their lives healthily and sustainably. We believe education is the foundation of behavior change and when combined with a custom program and accountability, lives are transformed healthily and sustainably.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Learning what YOUR body needs in terms of the types and amounts of foods and the proper way to fit exercise into your lifestyle. Consistency with the basics of adhering to a calorie deficit, hitting your protein goals, eating enough fiber, getting enough sleep and weight training 3-4 days a week (and being consistent with this) is truly the key to getting the body of your dreams.

What do you love most about your job?

Building relationships with each of our clients and seeing them finally achieve their biggest goals after years and years of hard work. We love seeing the minds and lives of our clients transform throughout our program and we strive to put a smile on each of our client's faces seeing the satisfaction in their eyes and the progress they make from all their hard work is extremely rewarding.

What inspired you to start your own business?

As a teen, I suffered from anorexia (an eating disorder). That ignited my passion for nutrition, fitness, and health which led me to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from Louisiana Tech University and then eventually earn a Master's Degree in Nutrition & Exercise from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After learning all that I did and breaking free from the chains of my eating disorder, I decided to give back and start a business - Tandem Nutrition - to help others who find themselves struggling trying to achieve their dream body and mind.
