What a lovely experience it was..it’s my first visit in this cafe but definitely not the last one..I was craving for Bengali authentic food from so long coz I am tired of eating South Indian food here and then I got to know about this cafe from one of my friend. This cafe is newly opened and owned by a duo of mother and a daughter. They have the chefs from kolkata itself and trust me the essence of food is something which will stay with you for a long time. I have tried their fish chop, and luchi aalu dum. Trust me I haven’t drank water after that coz I want that taste to stay with me. The lovely nature of the owner will make you feel like a home. Finding bengali food that tastes just like how it is made at home is very hard to come by in Bangalore. But thank god I found Swaadishh and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere: The restaurant is run by a mother-daughter duo and they ensure that as soon as you sit down, you are transported back home, with so much warmth. Taste: I ordered Kolkata style biryani (boy! Did I miss aalu in my biryani), fish thaali as the main course, mocha'r chop, and bengali fish and chips. My favorites were the chicken pakoda, paneer pakoda, egg devil and authentic kolkata rolls. They also have fish finger and fish cutlet. Prices are extremely reasonable.
