What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Take multiple shots.
Test out various angles, try different poses if you're capturing a model at a photo shoot and don't be afraid of rapid-fire photography. Take the same photo, but with different settings or effects. Try taking photos of things you wouldn't normally shoot, even around your own
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Emotion: What emotion, feeling, or vibe do you want to portray in these images?
Purpose: What is the main purpose for choosing me as a photographer?
Budget: What is your budget?
Expectations: What do you hope to get out of the experience?
Attendees: Who will be attending the session?
Story: Ask them their story. For example, if you're shooting an engagement series, ask how they got engaged.
Reference images: What do you like about the reference images you sent me?
Feedback: Is this what you're looking for?
What do you love most about your job?
Creating amazing photos that capture the magic of everyday life doesn't come without hard work, dedication and imagination. There is always something new to explore and a new way to take the same photos. It's a job that I find never gets boring. I get to meet new people all the time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In short nowadays photography business is not just about clicking pictures, rather one has to be a visionary, a shot maker, someone who knows what he wants to express through the pictures taken; and surprisingly none of these things can be really taught; They come from experience, from passion with which you carry on your photography business, and of course the efforts that you put in to make your work stand out.
