What inspired you to start your own business?
I am Yash Kapoor, an avid learner, curious by nature (almost to the level of OCD) and a passionate Film-Maker. Since my school days I was fascinated with stories and how it triggered an emotional response in the viewer. I got-hooked on to various Audio-visual mediums like Films, Music Videos, Cartoon Animations etc. It been a long time since I graduated from School and college but I am still in love with audio-visuals.
So I combined my Passion for Audio-Visuals and my Film-Making skills (that I had learnt over the course of 10 years of my Corporate Career) and Founded Novela Films in 2017. Novela Films is a Boutique Production house that caters to the Corporates in the BFSI and the Technology Space.
We slowly evolved as a company and Found our niche in 2D Animation Explainer Video Space. Though we do cater to other video formats like Digital Ads / TVC, Corporate Films, Interviews, Documentaries and even dabble into Fiction content through Short Films , Web Series and Feature films.
In the past 7 Years three years we worked with some of the biggest names in Corporate India like HDFC, SBI, IndiaBulls, Mahindra, Hexaware, Godrej, Stockholding, New India Bank and many more.
