We hired Goza and DJ Sammy for both our daughters’ 18th and 21st birthday parties at Four Larks Cafe in Parkville, and they were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The music selection was the best we’ve ever experienced at an event and every song was on point and kept the dance floor packed all night. At times, all 100 guests were up dancing, which says everything about how good they were as DJs and entertainers. What really impressed us was how much was included as standard in their package at no extra charge. The magnificent lighting setup, lasers, smoke machine, microphones, and even guest song requests via QR code were all included. Everything was clearly itemised in the quote, with no hidden surprises, and they still came in around 10% cheaper than every other quote we received. One amazing surprise on the night was when they took a photo of our daughters during the event, creatively animated it with special effects, and displayed it live on the DJ booth screen. It was such a personal and memorable touch that everyone loved. o top it all off, they also included a professionally edited 3-minute highlight video of the entire event, which we’ll treasure forever. Honestly, we know for a fact that no other DJ company includes this level of service, creativity, and value as standard. Goza and DJ Sammy went above and beyond in every way, and we were so impressed that we happily gave them extra on the night because they absolutely deserved it. Highly, highly recommended...what an incredible team!

We honestly couldn’t recommend MC Goza and DJ Sammy highly enough after having them do our wedding at The Vines of the Yarra Valley! From the very beginning, these guys were absolutely on point. Their timing with every song was spot-on, whether it was choosing the perfect song for a special moment, warming up the crowd, transitioning between different parts of the night, or knowing exactly when to lift the energy. Their MCing was also fantastic, confident, engaging and natural without ever taking away from the importance of the moment. The vibe they created was outstanding. They have a real ability to read the room and tap into the human side of a wedding and understanding how people are feeling in those moments and knowing exactly what to do to make them even more memorable. It genuinely felt like they cared about our wedding as much as we did. Another thing that really stood out was how competitive their package was. They included so much that other providers were charging significantly extra for, in some cases almost double. It was incredible value, but more importantly, it never felt like we were getting a “package”; it felt like they were genuinely trying to give us the best possible experience. And the highlight video they put together for us was such a special touch. Knowing our professional photos and final wedding video would still be months away, having something so quickly after the wedding allowed us to relive those moments while everything was still fresh. It was honestly something we’ll treasure. Everyone always says, “We highly recommend them,” but in this case, we genuinely mean it. These guys really think about their clients, understand the little things that matter, and know how to create an atmosphere that people remember. Thank you so much to both of you for being such a huge part of our special day. You absolutely nailed it, and we couldn’t be happier!

I cannot speak highly enough of DJ Sammy and manager Goza for the incredible job they did at my daughter's 21st birthday celebration at Lakeside Pavilion, Albert Park. With nearly 300 guests in attendance, they handled every aspect of the entertainment with absolute professionalism and confidence. DJ Sammy's music selections were exceptional and perfectly tailored to the atmosphere throughout the evening. From the arrival of guests, through the formalities, and onto the dance floor, every song seemed to hit exactly the right note at exactly the right time. The energy in the room was fantastic, and the dance floor was packed all night. What impressed me just as much was the outstanding communication and support provided by Goza. From our initial discussions right through to the event itself, he was responsive, organised, and genuinely invested in ensuring everything ran smoothly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his attention to detail gave us complete confidence leading up to the big night. On the evening, a number of unexpected technical issues arose with equipment and systems at the venue itself. Rather than allowing these problems to impact the event, Goza and DJ Sammy stepped in immediately, troubleshooting and resolving the issues quickly and professionally. Their experience, calm approach, and technical knowledge ensured our guests were completely unaware that any problems had occurred. Their teamwork, reliability, and dedication went far beyond simply providing music. They helped create an unforgettable atmosphere and played a major role in making my daughter's 21st such a memorable and successful celebration. We received countless compliments from guests about the music, sound quality, and overall vibe of the evening. We had such a wonderful experience with Big Room and DJ Steve! We knew that music was going to be such an important part of our day! They provided us with an app that let us add playlists from Apple music, spotify, youtube or select individual songs for each part of our day. It was extremely straight forward and easy to use. He got the dance floor going and played the songs we had selected in such a fun way, our dance floor was packed the entire time and the vibe was amazing! Steve was so amazing to work with and we had multiple people afterwards say how amazing the DJ was. I would definitely suggest Steve for your wedding!

Goza and DJ Sammy were absolutely fabulous at our wedding at One of Nine in Richmond! We chose them based on the amazing reviews, and I can honestly say every single one of them is true. From start to finish, they were professional, fun, and kept the energy high all night. They even did something special for us that we weren't expecting, which meant so much that I happily paid them a little extra afterwards. If you're comparing DJs, don't get distracted by all the claims about having the "best" this or that. Just book these guys. They're worth every dollar and then some. Highly, highly recommend! I had Goza and DJ Sammy run my 18th birthday in South Yarra and they honestly blew everyone away. The setup looked incredible from the moment you walked in, and the lighting was next level it completely transformed the room. One of the coolest touches was seeing ourselves on the TV screen while we were dancing. Everyone loved it and it added such a fun, modern vibe to the night. On top of that, they put together a full highlight video of the whole birthday for just a little extra, and it was worth every cent. Since we booked directly, they even looked after us with a huge discount when paying cash, which was a massive bonus. I’ve been to a lot of 18th parties lately, but none came close to this. The professionalism, the energy, and the attention to detail from Goza and DJ Sammy were on another level. If you want a night that actually stands out, this is the team to book.

We really enjoyed our experience with Big Room ! Scott was super nice and helpful before our event — he hopped on a call with us to get our full vision and even met with us early on the day of our reception so that we could practice our first dance. So many of our guests commented on how great the music set was. We highly recommend requesting Mike to DJ your event!

We used Big Room for our wedding and they did a fantastic job! Our DJ, Coby, kept the dance floor full all night long! We had a couple calls prior to our wedding to go over the genres and songs we preferred and Coby got the vibe of our music perfectly, playing songs we requested, as well as fan favorite songs so there was something for every guest at our wedding.
