My cousin and I decided to try this new restaurant and we love discovering new seafood places. I can definitely say the food was amazing, not too overwhelming just the perfect amount of sauce and seasonings. We also liked that a separate tray is included to pour the seafood out, very useful. Will be returning again but next time with more people! Thank you so much for the food

A family owned business, where you will find a lovely Ethiopian family serving the best their country has to offer . Very charming and authentic place. The food is delicious and fresh. I highly recommend the Ethiopian coffee served in a traditional manner.A wonderful addition to old town Manassas.

Tried out the place today driving home from a vacation! I had the jambalaya and it was delicious! Nice large portion that came out steaming hot. Nice flavor with just enough kick for this lady who can't handle spice that well! The two others in my party enjoyed their fried oysters and shrimp po-boy sandwich, especially the sauce that came with both! Solid creole/Cajun food in Manassas!

Elias Zarkadoulas, owner of Taste of Old Country, son of Greek immigrant parents and proud father of 3 young boys, grew up enjoying his mother’s cooking, which was always themed around the finest, most authentic Mediterranean ingredients. Pastitio and baklava were family favorites at the Thanksgiving table! Elias recognized there was a way to bring a taste of his old country to life for everyone to enjoy through the creation of his artisan bistro and market.

In January 2020, we renovated our bistro, which is intimate and naturally limits the number of guests and focuses more on improving the customer experience. In light of our responses to the challenges introduced to the restaurant industry as a result of COVID-19, which include more hands-free features and better ventilation, our bistro is uniquely suited to provide a safe customer experience where guests can feel at-home and at ease when they visit us.
In addition, to our platter and family style offerings, we offer individually packaged items as well. All of the catered items come with tamper proof seals to ensure further safety.
