How long does a Photography session last?

There are different factors that dictate how long a photography session can last but most photoshoots last from 30 minutes up to two hours.

Where might the Photography session take place?

The photographs may be taken inside a studio or outside depending on the type of photography they are doing.

What should I look for in a Photographer?

All photographers will have an artistic portfolio so make sure you have a look at it to assess their style. Some photographers will also have a photography degree.

Rapport is one of the most important parts of photographing. It is advisable to meet your photographer in person so you can gauge how comfortable you are in their presence.

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their artistic portfolio, profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their photography services.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

Anticipation.
Being in the right place at the right time ready to capture images. The best images are usually shot just after the one that was intended...
Also, NEVER asking a client to 'smile' or asking kids to 'sit still' - it just doesn't work !

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

Are you hoping to capture any specific images during the session ?
What's important to you in relation to image style or content ?

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing a clients face while they are watching the final show of images, and their thanks for creating more than they thought possible. Meeting new people and making them feel comfortable in front of the camera.
No one is a natural in this regard but throughout my career I have managed to make thousands of clients look and feel great.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After 15 years working within and running busy high street studios, a desire to take control of my own destiny and give a quality service to all that choose to work with me.

Why should our clients choose you?

I believe I can create a show of amazing images for each client, that's why I only charge a session fee up front of £50. There is no initial tie in to buy images before you've seen them. If you love them you can choose to purchase from a range of handmade frames, canvases and digital products.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can provide a full mobile studio solution for those wanting something outdoors or at a location that isn't a professional photography studio. This works well for new families with babies, location sessions at the local beach or forest.

I booked Lloyd for my son’s 1st birthday party! Working with Lloyd was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. His keen eye for detail and creativity truly sets him apart in the industry. Not only did he capture breathtaking moments, but he also managed to convey emotions through their lens like no other. The professionalism and dedication displayed throughout the entire process was truly commendable. I highly recommend Lloyd to anyone looking for top-tier photographer that exceeds expectations.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Jay for our wedding day. They were able to capture all the special moments, big and small, with such authenticity and artistry. The photos are simply stunning, and we’re so grateful to have these memories to look back on for years to come.
