I have worked in Las Vegas as a birthday party/Clown since 1985. Yes this is my full-time job. I specialize in children’s entertainment although it works pretty well with family audiences! Generally for a party I arrive on stilts, dismount and do an interactive show that includes juggling tricks, magic, plate spinning, balloon twisting and if the situation allows each lesson on fire safety and fire juggling. Sometimes in my second hour I will get into Face Painting as well. I did work for Ringling brothers Clown college as a teacher, Disneyland as a clown on Main Street and also in Circus Circus casino here in Vegas. I am highly accessible, but respond better to text messaging.
The honest feedback I get from children and adults. How lucky am I to work in a business where I bring joy to others. Memories are everything and in some cases I have done a child’s birthday party and then come back and done their kids birthday party many years later.
I used to work for Ringling brothers Clown college, Circus Circus and also Disneyland as a professional clown. Whenever you work for someone else you are on their hours and their pay rate. Specializing in birthday parties is much more lucrative and allows me much more free time.
Yes there are always cheaper alternatives in almost any business. If you want to get a real professional who has been in the business for many years, it’s worth the difference in rate.
I do not do online entertainment. If people are nervous, I can do a social distancing party.
A lot of my parties are outdoors, sometimes I do what’s called a social distancing party. No doubt COVID-19 has been a big threat to everyone. I am fully vaccinated at this point and boosted 3 times.

Jan the DJ, knew how to read the room. I asked him to follow a 80's music vibe for a family birthday party, and he did just that plus more. He was gracious to the crowd and willing to honor music requests providing it kept people dancing and the room light and fun. The crowd in their 60's loved it along with their grandchildren who also danced the night away. When you go online for this type of service, one can feel a bit insecure wondering if they would even show-up. This was not the case with Jan because he is a great communicator upfront. He looked at photos of the venue and room size, he asked about guests and made sure he arrived early to avoid any traffic issues which was a huge relief due to the unplanned presidential visit to Seattle. Jan loves what he does, and it shows. I feared no one would dance (I know the men in my family), however the music was so perfectly suited eventually, they did. I recommend Jan at the Fun Factory for fare pricing, dependability, music arrangement, volume, presentation and a guaranteed good time.

Loved working with Greg and GSD Music Services! Beyond professional and organized! The band was INCREDIBLE! Greg was so communicative and really worked closely with me. We had 7 guest performers for our event, so it was a very complicated production. Greg made it so easy and took so much off of my plate. I would definitely hire them again!
