I sent my 3.5 year old husky/lab mix, Sebastian (Sebo), to Sam in the hopes of getting him off leash trained and managing his reactivity around dogs. Not only did Sebo come home fully off leash trained with a newfound self control around other dogs, but he is also crate trained! This is something I gave up on years ago. Sebo heels on walks and looks to me for direction. Even when playing with other dogs, he checks in with me and backs away when he feels himself becoming reactive. We’ve been on two hikes since I picked him up and his recall is excellent and something I’ve only dreamed of. He knows I am the boss, not him, and because of that he is now free to run around like a dog should. During the 3 weeks of training, Sam put me completely at ease with her frequent check ins and videos. I was concerned Sebo wouldn’t even want to come home because he was clearly having an absolute blast the entire time. It’s hard to put a price on improving your dog’s quality of life, but I can say that Sam’s School For Dogs is worth every single penny.
