I set up devoted to you homecare after working for a number of agencies and feeling that the clients needs were regularly not being met due to restrictive time, lack of travel time and no continuity of care. My ethos is the give the client the care they deserve and are paying for.

How long have you been in business?
My business is only in its early stages but I have been in care since I was 16 years old. I got into care in memory of my Great Aunty Win who passed away when I was 14 and felt I could have done more for her and so I became a carer to devote my life to helping others.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
I have my own PPE and wear a mask throughout the call, I wear an apron and gloves when preparing food or helping with personal care and change them between activities.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping people fulfil their wish of staying at home rather than going into a care home. Having the trust of the clients families to do the best by their relative. Feeling like I've accomplished something by the end of the day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked as a team leader for a care agency that was absolutely brilliant but it still lacked the personal touch, it couldn't offer continuity of care and this what what all the clients requested time and again. I want to be that difference, I want to offer what the market lacks and do it with a smile.
Why should our clients choose you?
I would be chosen because I can offer wholeheartedly what is needed. I'm a genuine, trustworthy and reliable person who by nature goes out of their way for others. Have a chat with me and see what you think for yourselves but I promise to care as if the client is my own family member.

No all my services are offered face to face, unless its just a shopping call which could be left on the door step if requested.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Full PPE and hand sanitiser used throughout. I've also had my 2 covid jabs.
Personal care
Showers, baths, shaving, hair washing, foot soak, incontinence care, catheter care, stoma care, temporary catheter (convene), strip wash, bed bath. Dressing.
Food preparation
Planning meals, preparing meals, shopping.
cleaning
All aspects of household cleaning and washing.
Social calls
Taking the client out to appointments or days out. Keeping the client company while family go out. Playing games to stimulate the memory.
Medication administration
Giving medication on time and observe taking.
Sleeping/waking nights
I have availability to do night sits where I stay in the clients home from 9pm-7am to give family members a night off or a night away.
