How counselling can help to process feelings of grief
Hello, I’m Yvonne from Daisy Vision Counselling. I work online, giving you a safe place to offload your problems in confidence, without any fear of judgment, and within the comfort of your home. I will listen with empathy, supporting you as you progress from a place of pain to a place of value, hope and purpose. Although I specialise in Bereavement, my counselling also addresses problems with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, direction in life, depression and anger. If you’re faced with the loss of a loved one, I realise it can be difficult to know who to turn to. You may feel numb, angry, guilt or regret, overwhelmingly sad or lonely and you may be struggling to sleep and eat. Whatever you’re going through right now, I will provide a listening ear, coming alongside you and supporting you through the grieving process, enabling you cope with life again. My bereavement counselling also encompasses loss of loved ones of all ages, including miscarriages, and is not limited to family and friends, but also pets. I also help with other life changes including the feeling of loss as children begin school, or leave home (empty nest), job loss, and losses associated with ageing, such as retirement, moving into a care home, loss of mobility and loneliness. I offer telephone counselling for those who don’t use the internet but would still like to access my services. I would love to talk about working with you to overcome your struggles.
I have a vision and passion to help men and women overcome their problems and find purpose and hope in their lives. I appreciate being invited to come alongside them on life’s journey and having the privilege of helping them to find release as they can share with me.
Daisy Vision Counselling is an extension of my natural desire to help men and women who need a safe place to unload their problems and someone to come alongside them, helping them face the difficulties in life and find healing. I offer support, as an Accredited Counsellor, online and remotely.
Having experienced many losses myself, I am able to empathise with those suffering loss, and will join with them as they grieve, allowing them to talk freely and deal with the devastation they're facing, at their own pace, and when they're ready helping them to find hope for the future.
My counselling sessions are available on Zoom, or on the phone for those who don't use the internet.
Working online enables clients to be able to talk openly, within the safety and comfort of their home.
I've found that this is preferred over face-to-face sessions, as there is no need to travel at the end of a session and it's easy to go and make a cuppa and switch off for moment before getting on with the rest of the day, particularly with bereavement counselling which is highly emotional.
All of my services are provided online and remotely to keep my clients safe regarding Covid-19.

Rachel was recommended to me by a friend who had also reached out to Rachel. From my very first session, I instantly felt comfortable to open up and express how I was feeling. Rachel radiates positivity and never fails to uplift my mood. She has a very peaceful and soothing aura about her and is such a genuine lady. Not only is Rachel amazing at what she does, she has also introduced me to many useful coping mechanisms. Rachel is very informative, she has recommended some amazing books, blogs, articles, events and links that have been very helpful to me. I’ll always be grateful for the support and kindness Rachel has shown me. Thank you xx

I can’t recommend Rachel enough! I’ve had 2 babies and was really struggling to be my best for them and myself, with in only 3 sessions Rachel helped me unbelievable amounts and I finally feel like I’m back to myself again and an even better version! She really is skilled at what she does and such a lovely person x

Suzanne is amazing at what she does! She is calm, collected, compassionate and a brilliant listener. Having sessions with her has helped me dig deep to process my emotions and feelings I have held in for years. Suzanne has also helped me to realise it's okay not to be okay and if I need to cry that is not a sign of weakness. I would highly recommend her because sometimes you just need someone to really listen to you and empathise with what you are going through. I cannot thank her enough for helping me.
