Hi. I’m Kim Michael, and welcome to my practice.

I have completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology (MACP) and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Through my own personal life experiences, I built an awareness and understanding early on of how the human psyche works, and how external factors play a significant role in impacting one’s life.

Together, I can help you understand how exposure to social conditioning, family dynamics, culture, trauma, etc. can impact our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My practice reflects my unique skills of building a connection and establishing a therapeutic alliance with you, emphasizing evidence-based treatments to help address any mental health concerns you have. My focus in working with you is to help you achieve your goals and empower you with the right tools and techniques that can be carried from our therapy sessions back into your everyday life.

As a certified clinical Hypnotherapist, I offer Hypnotherapy which is a form of therapy that utilizes hypnosis as a tool to help individuals address various psychological or behavioral issues. Hypnosis is a trance-like state characterized by focused attention, heightened suggestibility, and deep relaxation. Hypnotherapy is a completely safe intervention when conducted by a trained therapist who will guide the individual into a state of heightened awareness, where they can access their subconscious mind more easily.
