As a Kinesiologist, my approach to fitness and athletic training uses evidence-based methods that are derived from science. Every client comes with a unique profile. This is made up of their current skills and fitness level, their knowledge and experience about the gym equipment and using proper technique, any health considerations that will affect their performance and ability to make progress in a fitness program, and exactly what they are trying to get fit for.

First of all, I hate exercise (who really loves it?!)! I've been through numerous gyms and countless personal trainers but feel so lucky I found Michael. He is the best one I've had! I started training with Michael in January 2021 and just in a few months my mood has significantly improved and I am just getting stronger and stronger everyday. Michael is not like other gym trainers who just want your money... He actually prescribes me exercises to do from home on my off days. He genuinely wants the best for your health! I think that's really what his life calling is :)

If you are looking for a professional kinesiologist/personal trainer who is knowledgeable about the human body/nutrition, has your best interest in mind, and is super fun to work out with, look no further! Your health is priceless and you need to invest in yourself. I highly recommend Michael and the InFighting Training Centre in Burnaby! Personal Trainers

So glad I went with Michael! 4 training sessions in and I am already feeling better about myself and looking forward to meeting you fitness goals! He works you hard and makes you want to come back for more! I highly recommend him, with his kinesiology background and in a safe place to workout during Covid-19. I was immediately impressed upon meeting Michael. He is one of the most professional personal trainers I've ever met. I went into the appointment, ready to surprise him with some pre-existing conditions, and he passed the test with flying colours! He was able to adapt all exercises on-the-fly, using most of the same exercises that my physiotherapist used during my rehab. It was impressive and effective! His experience and knowledge really showed his dedication to health and exercise. Michael is patient and friendly. He answered all of my questions, even though the appointment went well over a hour. Micheal has a Kinesiology degree (the scientific study of hunan body movenent) which is what you want for your sake when it comes to training.
He gauges your movements and strengths and develops a training program for you.

Nothing! Consistency in healthy choices, in AND out of the gym. I show my clients how to do all of it. Also, help identify What IS the body of their dreams. People can have varying degress of "body of their dreams".

I get to use exercise, a natural, non-drug related method, to help people live healthier lives. I love being a part of a transformation process, and watch my clients grow and become healthier versions of themselves.

I get to use what I've learned in Kinesiology and scientifically proven methods and help people become best versions of themselves, while making a living. Both of which I'm very passionate about!

I truly care about my clients' well being! I'm understanding of all capabilities, and I respect anyone who is willing to show up and put in the effort! Lastly, I only use scientifically PROVEN methods, so perhaps it's not as flashy and gimmicky as things seen on social media. But I don't believe in wasting peoples' time and money. Both are incredibly valuable, and it would be disrespectful of me not to maximize both.
