Visited today as group of six adults & 3 children. Can’t fault the service or food, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Food was amazing! Roast beef cooked perfectly (lovely selection of fresh vegetables) and good selection of children's meals. We visited for a family get together, food was really nice, the only thing was the prawn cocktail only had 4 prawns in it, which a little disappointing.

Amazing location, however not Amazing food, Very uninspiring pre prepared menu . The portions are of a good size which does make up for it a little. Our calamari was plated as if it were the 90s again with a massive side salad large enough to feed the others on our table. The lemon aioli is not aioli, rather a mayonnaise with lemon in... there is a huge difference between the two... very disappointing especially as this was also on other menu items. Another disappointment was the same salad and dressing on the steak plate despite ordering the additional sauce, this created far too many flavours on my plate. Steak wasn't rested so was chewy, and chips were as you'd find in a chain. Service was okay, girls were friendly Overall if I had been out walking all day and was starving I'd welcome the large portions, however I wouldn't recommend for impressing on a date or special occasion until the cooks were changed for chefs. Our first visit to The Odd Wheel . The welcome was great and it was so nice to meet our host Jess who was so friendly and helpful. My friend is gluten intolerant and what a surprise to find a host who understood the challenges of finding a restaurant that caters for this. My friend had gluten free fish and chips perfectly cooked and I had one of the best steaks I have had a for a long time. The pub/ restaurant is worth a visit , excellent food and great craft beers. Visited for the first time yesterday, the second day of pubs reopening after the lockdown. Had a brilliant lunchtime sitting outside with our ‘bubble’ - thank you very much. Tasty food, well kept beer, friendly staff and the minimum disruption over track and trace (just scan the QR code on the menu).
