About

Emma Coode is a highly professional and inspirational teacher who has over 25 years of experience both as a class teacher and a Head teacher in primary and independent preparatory schools, and as a specialist English and History teacher in independent secondary schools. In 2019 she began working from home as a personal tutor, offering a bespoke, individualised programme of support, development and challenge in order to help pupils achieve their goals and boost their confidence. Fun, engaging lessons are offered remotely via secure Zoom meetings or in person. Learning programmes are designed on a bespoke basis within an encouraging, positive, empowering learning environment, where activities and learning outcomes are targeted specifically to the individual needs, ambitions and interests of each pupil. The lessons are structured and planned to inspire confidence, curiosity and intellectual independence, supporting children and young people in experiencing success and achieving their goals.

Year 6 SATS revision and preparation

13+ examination preparation: English, humanities, interview tips and practice

English GCSE preparation: targeted revision and support (all exam boards)
