About

Hi there, I’m Mick,

I initially trained in Hypno in 1997, but had a few years out of the industry before returning to doing therapy in 2019 (just in time for lockdown!). I’ve been practicing ever since.

I generally focus on Anxiety issues, Male sexual health, Phobia and Trauma work.

Q&As

Even when clients come with the same issue, whether it be anxiety, phobia, or anything else, they are all different cases. No two are alike and the therapy will reflect that. Its not a one size fits all approach and discovering the key to making change for that particular individual is a real buzz. That keeps it very interesting for me, which means I keep learning too.

I want to practice therapy and help people in distress. Being self-employed is the usual route in to be able to do that.

Therapy is meeting of two (or occasionally more) individuals, with a common goal. They work together to get there.
Of course you should make sure that a therapist is suitably qualified, skilled and insured; but I would suggest that, when choosing a therapist, a client should choose someone they feel they can trust and can work with.
For this reason I always like to start a communication before any commitment is made. I'm quite down to earth, although I have a strong sense of the spiritual aspect of humanity. I'm honest and I have lots and lots of life experience [yeah... I'm old!].

A reasonable length phone conversation would usually give you a feel for whether or not we would be a good match.

I'm working primarily face to face. For traditional style Hypnosis, this works much better. On-line works fine for conversational style Hypnosis.

I work out of 2 local clinics.
When it has been appropriate to do so, there have been strict procedures in place regarding social distancing and hand sanitisation.
I am happy to say however, at the time of writing, there is no need for any of that malarkey.
