Does your PT inspire you by the way they look and in the way they train? James is definitely a PT who walks the walk. I've been coached by James for 7 months during which he's designed and regularly reviewed my training programme to build on strengths and correct weaknesses. I've progressed massively. His introverted nature means that he carefully observes and thinks about his client's needs and he doesn't apply a one-size-fits-all approach like many do. But he's tough and merciless during training! His technical knowledge is outstanding. His coaching has put me in the strongest and best shape of my life. Ok, here goes.
He bloody tries to kill me every time I see him - which is weekly, and some days I can hardly walk when I've finished, so I wonder why I bother.
But then I have to say - grudgingly - that he is the best trainer I have had, the variety prevents boredom setting in, and undoubtedly I'm making more progress with him than without, and he tolerates my swearing at him too... so it's all good really. Without his work ethic, and commitment, I wouldn't have any.

I initially worked with James following an online programme and now with PT sessions. James is incredibly professional and his passion for what he does and desire to help you achieve your goals is clear in every communication, which is very motivating. He has an exceptional level of understanding of exercise and technique, which he can clearly demonstrate and explain to help you continually improve. I have been training with James for nearly 3 years now and he is easily the best PT I have had. His dedication and motivation means he gets the best out of you and I am stronger now than I thought possible. He pushes you to do things he knows you are capable of even if you don't believe you are. Consistency is key. But at the same time, turning up isn’t good enough - you have to be willing to work outside of your comfort zone, and that’s something I can help with.

Job satisfaction for me comes from the results, helping the client achieve something they never thought they could.

I have been a PT for over 8 years and own the Gym I work from, owning my own business is something that I fell into somewhat. I saw an opportunity to help people and wanted to create an environment where success was inevitable.

I will be with the client EVERY rep, not just every week. My reputation is invaluable to me and I will continue to add to my portfolio by continuing to get great results, I always aim to add value to every session that they simply wouldn’t get training alone.
