Absolutely amazing! I would 100% recommend Alistair and his fabulous team. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented. Alistair was so great at creating the perfect menu for our party. It was an incredible experience, all our guests and us had a very special and memorable evening.

Alistair catered for our family funeral in our garden yesterday. He made the day run so smoothly with perfect professionalism and reliable timing. The food was outstanding, all guests commenting on the delicious dishes.

I contacted Hallingbury Events Company through a recommendation from a friend for a corporate dinner I hosted at my home in February for 18 guests before the Covid-19 outbreak. Right from the first conversation I had with Alistair (the owner) I felt in safe hands. He quickly understood the importance of the occasion and sent through 2 menus especially written for my event for me to choose from.
I only realized was one vegan guest the day before the dinner which he catered for with a lovely pickled vegetable salad starter and a roast cauliflower main course. The food on the night was beautifully presented and delicious – we had scallops, lamb and panna cotta for dessert. We also had the added surprise of home made sourdough with whipped marmite butter, which was superb. Our waiter was really efficient, helpful and discreet throughout the evening and the guys left the kitchen cleaner than when they arrived!
Highly recommended.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Alistair and his team for helping me last December host a successful Dinner Party at my place with a group of friends and colleagues for my re-location from the area. He was really hands on in creating an imaginative and seasonal menu, which included a great selection of seasonal meats including locally reared Venison.

Delicious and it went down a treat with my guests!! He was also great with drinks (not a strong point of mine) and created some really great cocktails which was enjoyed (and devoured!) by all. The small band of servers were polite and couldn't do enough for all my guests, which all helped contribute to a really slick service and no-one could have any complaints.

Best of all Alistair's prices are really competitive (a steal really-all things considered) which made the night even better! Highly recommend and helped see me time off here in style. Thanks Alistair!

I've used this company for my sons first holy communion and I cannot fault them.
From selection and quantity advice they were professional and helpful. The quality of service was 5 *.
I would highly recommend this company ,they surpass all my expectations and their canapes were delicious. Will be using their services again. Well done 👍

My favourite dishto cook for guests is a fillet of beef with gratin dauphinois, layered with slow braised shin of beef. We serve this with an intense red wine sauce and heritage carrots. My cooking ethos has always been to cook with the seasons and to make full use of what is in season, spring and summer are my favorite seasons due to the variety of delicious ingredients around at this time. I also love to create dishes where the main element is vegetarian, for example we are currently serving a delicious lightly spiced roast cauliflower with tahini , smoked almonds and pomegranate

We always meet the client as soon as possible to understand what their expectatio are from their event. It is also important to see the venue - whether it is at home or at another location so we can understand the logistics and also put the client at ease. Then we will discuss the preferences and ideas of the client as well as the service and timings around the event. We will then regularly communicate with the client all the way up to the event, so if there are any last minute charges we can respond quickly.

I love every aspect of the business from meeting new clients to creating new menus, as well as cooking and managing the event on the big day. I also really enjoy the sense of occasion that a great event brings!

Earlier in my career I worked for chef Max Fischer at his Michelin starred restaurant, Fischers at Baslow Hall. He was a great chef and much of the produce we used in the restaurant was grown in the gardens there. It was his work ethic and unwillingness to compromise on quality that inspired me to open my own business.

We will alway go that extra mile to deliver great food and service to our clients. Myself and my team are very experienced and are always on call to answer any queries and guide clients along the way. We are solution focused and able to think on our feet.
We will not compromise on the quality of our product.
