I have been taking lessons with Diasuke for a few years and I absolutely love it. He has a passion for ballet and also for teaching. He wants everyone to be the best they can and guides everyone at their level and pace. I'm now en pointe ... a dream come true after never getting on with them years ago. I met Daisuke from a mutual interest in gymnastics / martial arts tricking. Upon befriending him and learning of his profession, I decided to give his classes a go.
I began training as I was always fascinated by the training aspect of ballet, but was surprised at how much I enjoyed the lessons, very well structured and physically demanding (I like to try hard) but also extremely fun.
After just a 2-3 months I noticed a big difference in how well I was able to perform head height roundhouse kicks (mawashi geri). I feel honoured to learn from anybody who has mastered their art form and Daisuke is definitely is a master. It's inspirational to watch him perform difficult moves with ease and gives me motivation to follow his instruction carefully. Highly recommend for everyone!

I joined adult ballet wales in November and I was so nervous as I hadn't done ballet since I was a child. I felt so welcome as soon as I walked through the door and I always feel like I have the right level of support!
Daisuke is an amazing teacher! In the short time I've been there I have learnt so much!
Pointe lessons are absolutely fantastic! I've always wanted to dance en pointe and my dream is coming true! I already feel confident enough to move away from the bar and am really looking forward to progressing further! I highly recommend ballet to anybody!

I've been doing ballet with Daisuke for a year now, and I absolutely love his classes. We try new things all time, and Dais makes sure it suits people of varying abilities, it's always a great way to start the weekend with ballet class on a Friday evening :) everyone that attends the class is really friendly as well, and we get new members all the time!
I started the pointe class last night as well, which was absolutely fantastic! Daisuke makes sure to go slowly to suit everyone's pace and checks everyone is doing everything correctly.
I would thoroughly recommend starting any of his classes if you're thinking about it, Dais and the rest of the class will certainly make you feel welcome!

Working with Daisuke Miura has given me a great start in my dance career and his assistance found me my first job offer, since I graduated from school.
This was made possible by the support I received, which included, technical and performance advice within his Classical Ballet classes and also pointers in finding new job opportunities, such as: righting letters, emails, photos, videos and even how to come across during an interview situation.
The advice and guidance I have received from Daisuke has not only given me the knowledge I needed to find and gain new job opportunities, but has also given me the confidence to put myself in an audition situation.

I went along last night to the induction class, not knowing what to expect.
Had a very friendly welcome from the instructor Daisuke.
The induction class was at a steady pace and was chatty and informal, fun even� it covered basic positions and terminology.
I was feeling brave so stayed on to the beginner class which had a very wide range of ‘beginners’ lol! � again they were all friendly and all there to learn so the class was a quicker pace as it was a lot busier and Daisuke needed to meet everyone’s needs but somehow had time for everyone.
I really enjoyed myself even as a complete novice and am genuinely looking forward to going again �

Just had my first beginners class last night. My god it was brilliant, exciting, demanding, but comfortable, and above all fun.
I don't have an interest in ballet at all. I do, however, want to get fit, but i hate gyms and I know for a fact that dancing is the most effective and holistic way of getting perfectly fit and healthy in mind and body. So as a 50 year old bloke who's relatively out of shape I went for it!.
Daisuke is fantastic as a teacher and human being, i am so impressed with the whole class, they were all lovely. I can't wait .to go again. This is real demanding workout if you want it that way- it's so flexible, freeing and joyful.
Everyone should forget the damned gym and pillates blah, blah, blah and try classical ballet, it's the real deal.

Daisuke is the best teacher ever! He is so patient and thorough when explaining. The wealth of his knowledge is outstanding! I've only been to 3 classes and have had two private sessions and I have learnt so much already. The private sessions are definitely worth doing - I've taken so much away from them and have much more confidence (partly from Daisukes encouragement). Would recommend 100 times over. More...

Daisuke is a fantastic teacher. I have only been doing ballet for 12 weeks and went to his beginner's workshop last Sunday. It was informative, great fun and really supportive. Don't feel worried about being too old, unfit or fat...if you want to dance and enjoy getting in shape this is the best way by far! So much fun and pure joy. You won't even know you are exercising. Best thing I have done for myself in a long time. Go for it! More...

Had the most amazing time on both workshops recently: (Feb 18) Adult Beginners Ballet & (Feb 25) Intensive Adult Ballet Day! I must admit i was very nervous as this was my first ballet workshop. In the end, i greatly enjoyed the whole learning experience. Met a lot of lovely & friendly dance students; plus, (ballet instructor) Daisuke is simply brilliant! I loved his teaching method pace and the way he gives equal support & attention to each student in the ballet workshop. I definitely learned a lot (and greatly enjoyed my very first proper pointe class too)! Another good thing is that Daisuke replies promptly whenever you have enquiries (either via online or text).
