Very professional and good to work with, Sami really knows his stuff. I can tell even from a first lesson that he has a ton of experience in tennis and a deep understanding of the game. Very quick on picking up on technique and style and identifying areas to improve. Also very patient with me and my lack of fitness!

We have just completed our 5th active away tennis holiday and once again it was outstanding. There is no doubt that each time we have been our doubles tennis significantly improves when we get back to the UK. The holidays have always been great fun, with a like minded bunch of tennis players. The coaching really is exceptional both enthusiastic and knowledgeable as well as challenging . The activeaway program is significantly better than some of their competitors offerings we have been on. Away from the courts the hosting of the holiday is friendly and inclusive and we often make new friends. We would totally recommend activeaway if you want to improve your doubles and have a tremendous fun holiday. Every person on our course rebooked as soon as the week was completed!!

Jay is a very professional coach. He has an excellent teaching method. He is very meticulous and gives a lot of useful tips. I was a tennis beginner and after 15 1 to 1 lessons I feel much more confident and I am now able to play rally.
He is also very good in scheduling the lesson and booking the court, which makes life much easier.
I would strongly recommend him. He is an amazing coach!

I’ve been playing Tennis for the past 13-14 years of my life Semi professionally and decided to turn to coaching after a serious injury. I offer 1-1 individual Tennis Lessons (£45), for more people it can be discussed!
I followed a similar route to a lot of tennis coaches. When I was younger, I was competing on a regional and national level as a rated player. I played in what are now known as Grade 5 or above competitions. I really enjoyed the open singles tournaments, and quickly transitioned into coaching. A lot of players coach as their main job – unless you’re Andy Murray of course. It was therefore a natural progression to move into developing other players’ games.
A lot of the tennis programs that I create are based around taking a beginner to an intermediate level. It’s incredibly rewarding because the rate of improvement is so quick. You can genuinely see them get better after each session. It’s great to see someone go from learning the sport to being able to enter competitions, and play with their peers. Having said that, I do provide guidance for a few more advanced players. They’re usually in their teenage years and are fiercely competitive. I don’t think you ever lose that competitive drive!
I teach both adults and children. Children’s tennis lessons are very different to adult lessons, as they have so much energy! I’m fully LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) accredited, and offer both private lessons and group lessons. It doesn’t matter if you’re a junior, adult or senior, the main aim is to have fun playing a sport we love.
