Crystalline counselling has done wonders for my son. The service is professional, friendly, and effective. We have come a long way in helping my son deal with my illness and process his worries and fears, and crystalline counselling has been a major part of this journey. It's been a huge help to me that he has been able to talk to someone who is well qualified to help him, and a huge joy to see the improvement in his overall well being.
Many, many thanks x

My name is Fay, I am a hypnotherapist, counsellor, holistic therapist, and yoga teacher based in Low Fell, Gateshead, however I also work remotely a lot. Over the past 10 years I have accumulated a number of qualifications in counselling, hypnotherapy, yoga, reiki and tarot as I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to healing. I would also like to state when I talk about healing, I do not mean that there is a part of you that needs to be fixed.

Fay's counselling offers different kinds of techniques. Personally they allowed me to face obscure parts of myself and deal with them through feelings and intension and energy, leaving me with a sense of resolution and peace. Compared with previous traditional psychotherapy I had, I'd say that the work I've done with Fay is deeper and quicker, authentic and long-lasting. I was initially skeptical towards online counselling but just a single session was enough to prove that it's possible to work successfully online, feeling safe and held. I'm grateful for the healing I received in just 4 months and for the self-healing skills I have learnt, I feel I can now manage stress a little bit better than before. Thank you Fay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I started hypnotherapy initially to become more focused and positive and I can honestly say its been a life-changing experience for me. After the consultation, we identified confidence as a key area to grow and weeks later I feel like a different person. The best thing is that Keith explains how and why the brain acts in certain ways to further understanding of how we can keep thinking positively after the sessions have finished. I wholeheartedly recommend Keith and his Solution-based Hypnotherapy to help achieve positive changes in your life through actions you want to take. I feel on top of the world and like I can now do anything!

Inspired by my own struggles with mental health from a young age I knew that my calling was working with people and focusing on well-being. I continued to blog while returning to university to qualify as a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I have worked throughout different areas of the sector before taking the plunge to step out on my own. From youngsters wanting guidance to those with long term illness to people in the criminal justice system, I'll never turn anyone away who's bravely reached out for help.

We have visited Mack's Place several times since their opening. The seafood is wonderful with a variety of choices for breading (even a gluten-free option). The clam fritters on the appetizer menu took me back to childhood on the Cape. The steamers were awesome and not sandy at all! My husband loves the Fire Cracker Burger. The fries are crunchy and not soggy...I loved that! The business is family owned and operated and the staff is really friendly. Its an open concept dining room so very family friendly but don't expect privacy or intimate dining. I disagree with the 2-star below as I HATE ketchup on the table because its unsanitary and a million people touch it and it should be refrigerated. And unless I'm in a fish market, I don't want to see the lobster tank. They smell and its not appetizing in a dinner setting so thanks for having it in the back! There are tons of different options for everything they make, whether is spicy sauces, different rolls/bread for burgers and sandwiches and the desserts are fantastic! We expected a traditional pizza and sub shop and got a whole lot more...thankfully, so very different from what was there before.Keep up the good work and thanks for feeding the masses!

I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic counsellor and gained my qualification at the Northern Guild for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, one of the most prestigious organisations in England. I initially qualified as a hypnotherapist and further developed my skills in Person Centred therapy and Transactional Analysis (TA) therapy. I work very much in the here and now and pride myself on being an excellent relational and intuitive therapist. Counselling gives a client an opportunity to talk, in confidence, with a skilled practitioner who will help them explore any issue or decision which is necessary to improve their quality of life. Issues can be very diverse; bereavement, loss, stress, anxiety, carer issues, abuse, relationship difficulties, sexuality, work related situations, depression, eating distress, trauma or lack of self-confidence, in fact anything which is affecting someone living their life. The services I provide offer first and foremost, a safe space for my clients. A warm and trusting environment that which provides you with the comfort of knowing you can speak freely. You will be listened to in a non-judgemental and empathetic manner. This will be a space where boundaries will be set for the benefits of both parties, giving you a sense of clarity from the very first session. Sessions may consist of simply talking on a one to one basis, focusing on your presenting issue or utilising various interventions to help evoke and resolve some of your deepest thoughts and fears. The pace will be set by you, giving you the opportunity to regularly review our therapeutic contract, allowing you to maintain a clear understanding of the presenting issue and help maintain a sense of direction towards your goals throughout your journey. I believe we all internalise emotions at times and this can feel like a pressure cooker, not knowing where to turn or how to deal with it. If we can remind ourselves to normalise this and have the courage to talk about our feelings with a professional, the rewards may prove to be enormous., helping you to find your sense of self and discover the quality of life that you desire. Free parking available at all times
Being in a position to provide individuals with a safe space and the opportunity to be heard is priceless. I take great pride in helping people to overcome some of their biggest hurdles in life. Seeing someone depart from therapy knowing they have achieved their goal can evoke empowerment to the individual and certainly gives me a great deal of satisfaction, having walked alongside on the journey to a more joyful and fulfilled life.
Starting my own business as a self-employed counsellor gave me the opportunity to achieve a improved work/life balance. I already have many years experience of working self-employed, so I understand the pros and cons of earning a living this way. There are many advantages working for an organisation, however running your own business allows you the freedom to choose what works for you as an individual to suit your lifestyle.
I would be wrong to suggest I am the best counsellor, as the fact remains that we are all merely working in different ways. My ultimate goal with every client is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship by simply being myself. This will generally allow the client to also be themselves and feel more comfortable to disclose whatever they desire. More importantly, to do so without feeling any judgement will be passed, as I will always remain neutral throughout your journey. I attend regular clinical supervision which is a requirement for all therapists, I keep up to date with Continued Professional Development (CPD) and I am accredited with United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am also registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) which upholds information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.
