The coaching that I provide is very mindfulness based, deriving from 'Acceptance and Commitment Therapy' which is renowned for tackling a plethora of conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, addictions, and substance abuse; not to exclude the way it can transform your ability to process and manage your own thinking, which is where the majority of most mental health problems originate.

I am a highly qualified counselling psychologist with many years of experience offering successful therapies to adults and adolescents. I have practiced within both NHS and private sector settings including the Maudsley and the Priory, and pride myself on being compassionate, grounded and empathic. I am highly creative in my approach, drawing upon proven therapy methods to help you move forward in making positive changes to the way you think, feel and behave.

I understand that sometimes life can be tough, full of problems and issues that you just can’t cope with anymore and turning to family or friends for help just isn’t an option. It can feel a little frightening acknowledging to yourself that you want or need to speak to a counsellor, so taking this first step can be an incredibly hard thing to do and I appreciate the effort it might have taken to get this far.

I'm qualified in counselling and hypnotherapy, working in the Colchester area. I'm registered with the National Counselling Society and National Hypnotherapy Society.
