I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!
I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.
I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.
I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

After extensive research for a professional team to provide advanced training for ADA service dog certification, we confidently selected Good Dog OC and Adam’s team. There are many online resources which can be retained for training and subsequent certification. Each group has its opinions and protocol on best practices to accomplish what's necessary. In our case, we have a senior family member who has a lifetime disease requiring the trained compassionate skills of a service dog. Upon our review and contacting five businesses who specialize in training, we began the process of selecting the group we believe would be the best team. We met with two of the five resources before our meeting with Adam from Good Dog OC. The other sources we phoned and discussed their preferred processes. Suffice it to say, our phone conversation and meeting with Adam resulted in selecting Good Dog OC for counseling and instruction. If you have a pet that needs to be trained this is the place to bring them! They did a fantastic job training my golden doodle on a 3 week booth camp, he came back so obedient, not pulling or jumping, not aggression anymore , Paw troopers are the best!
