Sean is amazing! He is one of the most positive people you will ever meet. He always comes to our house with a huge smile on his face and he brings a great energy. He stretches with my son a couple of times a week to keep him in good condition for the sports that he plays. He talks sports the entire time because he knows that's how to keep our child's interest and it works. Our son really enjoys working out with Sean because it's fun.Sean also works out with my husband and my husband enjoys these workouts, even though he hates to get up in the morning. One of the things we appreciate about Sean is that he has multiple credentials and certifications and is always looking to expand his knowledge base about the human body. In our experience, this differentiates him from the majority of the other trainers out there. More...

We found Sean through a physical therapist who recommended him. We were only in LA for 8 weeks but needed someone to work with our 13 year old who was recovering from surgeries a few months earlier and still weak. Sean was incredibly fun for our son -- he did what our son liked, skateboarding, soccer, basketball and every kind of fitness/exercise that could help. He knew how far he could push to get the most out of our son with still workring safely. He also helped him with exercises prescribed by a PT. He was a pleasure to work with from my perspective, and my son completely looked forward to his time with Sean. We cannot recommend him more highly! More...

I joined a boot camp a couple of years ago which was how I first got to knowSean Neff. He was one of my best instructor During my 6 week enrollment In camp. I soon learned why everyone was happy to see him, it was one of my best workouts. The time went by so fast and I felt so good afterwards, which I don't usually feel after a workoutThe next time I saw Sean was through a friends referral. I had asked her if she knew of someone who could help my son with his fitness training.Sean has helped my son lower his mile time by three minutes. My sons mile time used to be 10mins and now it's 7 mins. He is not only a Trainer but a mentor for coaching kids. My son is alwaysHappier after he has had an hour with Sean! More...

Sean is one of those rare instructors who is both very knowledgeable and super friendly. He is intuitive and knows when to push you and when to let you off the hook. Whenever I have a physical issue he knows how to help. And my classes with him are something I look forward to --not something one normally says about working out.He works well with men, women and kids. I cannot recommend him enough! More...

Sean Neff should list himself as a MAGICIAN, because he makes running fun. When something's fun, I do it. When I do it, I get results. Parachutes & frisbees on the beach + Sean's positive outlook & humor = a winning formula. More...

How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
Immeasurable. You'll see various percentages thrown out as high as 75% and the truth is that you can't even quantify just how important nutrition is to the overall health and wellness quotient. I teach my clients how to eat and why so that they can create good eating habits for the rest of their lives. No one meal plan is going to be able to do that as tastes and needs change so it's important that folks know the difference between nutrient-dense and energy-dense foods and which way they should lean in any given daily food choice possibility. Nutrition is the ever important Lifestyle choice for transformation and maintenance.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
After a proper assessment, I find out a client's exercise, injury, nutrition, sleep, and stress histories to form a more complete picture of what he or she may need overall in a full-scale fitness program. Some people may need more special attention in one or all of these areas and the program will be designed with this in mind. No two clients are alike so no cookie cutter exercise programs are allowed.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consistent healthy living. For many clients, this can be harder to sustain mentally than it is physically. Living healthy is a multi-faceted necessity in order to get that body transformation to happen and it's always good to have a certified Master Health and Wellness Coach (who is continually furthering his education) as your trainer. There is more to the transformation than just moving heavy weights from here to there in a progressive resistance training program.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the life and body progressions over time by my clients. I can't be there every minute of every day for them so I am so proud of the work that they do between our sessions. Past clients have lost up to 90 lbs, regained full range of motion after being hospitalized with a serious illness, regained strength and mobility after surgery, stayed as loose as possible while combatting Cerebral Palsy, and gone from the unpopular overweight kid into the popular fit kid due to his transformation. I absolutely love the work that my clients put in to make those changes!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had helped a good friend of mine build up her business into one of the most popular one-stop fitness shops on the Westside of Los Angeles and even though I was the full partner and head of men's fitness, I knew that the company would always be her baby and I respected that. I also knew that I would like to build something on my own so I bought out all of my private client contracts and did just that.
Why should our clients choose you?
I've been accused of making fitness fun for those who have previously detested moving their bodies. I keep the atmosphere light for those who prefer it and keep the results coming session after session. Are you up to the challenge?
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
My sessions are exclusively online so those who prefer the comfort of their home, or park nearby, or hotel room on a work trip, etc... get a full workout and/or health and wellness session brought directly to their favorite screen. I've used a multitude of platforms through the years so, more than likely, I'm equipped to handle the one that you're most comfortable with.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Shifting to a fully online paradigm has been a great way to keep all of us safe and moving and grooving!
