In terms of experience, I have been professionally leading all types of ensembles for over 20 years - from small ensembles up through full big bands. That translates to a comfort level on all kinds of events - from intimate performances for small audiences, to large-scale events at performing arts centers and stadiums, as well as radio and television broadcasts.
My process is professional and organized, as I typically manage over 100 events with 45-60 musicians per year.
I've enjoyed working with private clients who are booking cocktail parties, weddings, birthday/anniversary parties, summer lawn parties, recordings, concerts, and all kinds of other events.
My corporate clients have included groups in healthcare, hospitality, universities, government organizations, charities, and all kinds of businesses - from large to small.
Whether it's playing a gala event for a Fortune 500 company, a fun Gatsby-era summer lawn party, or an intimate family celebration for a loved one's 100th birthday - the satisfying part is being able share what we do best, and to provide the right touch for the client's event.

We hired GSD Music Services to play a live jazz trio for a cocktail hour benefit. GSD Music Services went over and above any expectation we had and curated an incredible night of music. We let them know the demographics and event type and they took it from there, fully delivering a memorable performance that the crowd couldn't get enough of. GSD Music Services knew exactly what to bring and how and where to set up so we didn't have to manage the logistics throughout the event. They are amazingly talented musicians and absolute professionals. I would HIGHLY recommend GSD Music Services to anyone -- they are at the top of their music game, very knowledgeable about performing for live events, and their pricing is extremely reasonable. I have hired GSD Music Services twice now for company functions and will definitely use them again in the future. The first time we had a solo pianist playing holiday jazz and the next year we hired a quartet with a fantastic vocalist. Greg always makes the process easy, answers questions before I even know to ask them, and the caliber of the musicians is always truly top notch. We have several musicians working at our company and they are always excited to hear the groups and ask the musicians questions on their breaks :) I highly recommend GSD if you need live music for your events!

My wife is a huge fan of music so I wanted to do something special for her 50th birthday party. I found GSD through a friend of a friend that had used them and they knocked it out of the park! We wanted to do something more subdued for the dinner portion and then bring the energy up after dinner and Greg put together a group of players that were beyond qualified. They played beautiful jazz while we were eating and then slowly brought the energy up with some classic oldies songs that we all knew and sang along to, and eventually even got all of us dancing to Motown classics—my wife's favorite :) Everybody was blown away and the music added so much to a very special night. Thank you Greg and GSD Music!
