Describe your creative process.

For graphic design:

1. Discovery: We arrange a meeting to discuss your goals and objectives for the project.

2. Design: We design the work you need and present it to you.

3. Revision: We replace any elements of the design that you'd like changed.

4. Delivery: We deliver the final products to you via WeTransfer or Email.

We have a 7 step website design process:

1. Goal identification: Where I work with the client to determine what goals the new website needs to fulfill. i.e. what its purpose is.

2. Scope definition: Once we know the site's goals, we can define the scope of the project. i.e., what web pages and features the site requires to fulfill the goal, and the timeline for building those out.

3. Sitemap and wireframe creation: With the scope well-defined, we can start digging into the sitemap, defining how the content and features we defined in scope definition will interrelate.

4. Content creation: Now that we have a bigger picture of the site in mind, we can start creating content for the individual pages, always keeping search engine optimisation (SEO) in mind to help keep pages focused on a single topic. It's vital that you have real content to work with for our next stage.

5. Visual elements: With the site architecture and some content in place, we can start working on the visual brand. Depending on the client, this may already be well-defined, but you might also be defining the visual style from the ground up. Tools like stylescapes, moodboards, and examples from other websites can help with this process.

6. Testing: By now, you've got all your pages and defined how they display to the site visitor, so it's time to make sure it all works. Combine manual browsing of the site on a variety of devices with automated site crawlers to identify everything from user experience issues to simple broken links.

7. Launch: Once everything's working beautifully, it's time to plan and execute your site launch! This should include planning both launch timing and communication strategies — i.e. when will you launch and how will you let the world know? After that, it's time to break out the bubbly.

What information do you need from a client before you can start work?

Company Details: name & contact details.
Brand Assets: Logos, brand manual and open files, if you have them.
Copy: The wording we need for the design or website. This includes product descriptions and benefits, staff and management details, vision, mission, company description, business history, accreditations.
High quality photos and video content: Where applicable, we need high quality photos and videos, or links to YouTube, Vimeo, and other related links.

What do you love most about your job?

I love that I get to help businesses communicate effectively. When clients make minor changes and see an increase in reach and brand interest, it makes me happy.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My parents. They are also entrepreneurs. I watched what they did growing up and it inspired me to do the same.

Why should our clients choose you?

Choose us if you're looking for a company to help you make strategic brand decisions. We're not just skilled labour for hire, we work alongside you to make sure that your brand communication efforts turn into business opportunities.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes, most of our work is done remotely because we have more than one location.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We use Zoom for 85% of our meetings. Everything else is done via text, phone call, or email to avoid unnecessary interaction.
