The service I recieved was excellent, the room was great but the white towels were dated and could do with a fresh stock. The food was excellent as was the table service . I would like to comment on the staff that made my stay the excellent expience it was. Please could you consider rewarding Simon, Thabo for their hard work and felibility shown with our schedule and for going the extra mile to get evrything sorted. Monique for your freindly smile in the morning and your can do attitude thank you. This place is amazing. Quite, peaceful, birds singing, view of the Harties dam and nature at it's best. Getting to the actual lodge is a bit of a stretch and one needs a car to get there but its all worth it. The pool is very clean, the staff is welcoming and nice. More...

Once we arrived we were welcomed by breathtaking scenery and the most accommodating staff. The food was sublime and the service beyond reproach. We stayed in the log cabin and were ambushed by bugs in the room. We were given another room to spend the night and they treated our cabin the following day so that we could return to the cabin, no bugs in site and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. The lake view and the mountains are reviving and relaxation. Tranquility at its best! ||||Our stay was very pleasant, room was clean, food was delicious and it tasted like home prepared meal. Their food is value for money at an average of R200pp or R250 including desserts. || The romantic setting of the bed with sprinkle of roses and treats of sweet had taken by breath away. The service was beyond our expectations. The staff was friendly but overworked. The management should consider rotating their staff to ease fatigued and reduces errors,because on 2 occasion, the waiter kept on mixing our table bills with other guests'tables. He was overworked. But despite that, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this Lodge and will definitely visit again. More...

The view was extremely beautiful and the pool would be very nice in summer. The jacuzzi was either too hot or too cold, but could be wonderful if we could regulate the tempreture ourselves. The food was excellent and the staff really friendly and helpfull.. More...

We loved the piece and quiet and beautiful/breath-taking surroundings. The staff were friendly and the food was impeccable. We were not impressed with how we were greeted, the coffee in the room was not replaced on a regular basis which means you had to ask for replacements, the towels that were removed were not replaced. Reception and restaurant area was very beautiful serviced by very friendly staff. Our accommodation 'tent no.4'This was not close to a four star ratting 1. We had to ask for a hair drier 2. There is no stand for your luggage 3. Mini Bar was on the floor and very poorly stocked 4. Bed sheet was torn and old 5. Front door was very badly repaired after what seems to be a broker door frame 6. We had to specially request for the bathroom utilities to be re stocked 7. The coffee/tea station was on top of the small fridge on the floor 8.Two sachets of coffee was available in the coffee station and was not re stocked with sufficient supply 9. No chair to sit on in the room. 10. Deck chairs where steel and very uncomfortable to sit and relax in while watching a sun set.. More...
