What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

Being able to see a story and tell it in the most visually stunning and honest way.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

What do you want to gain out of this photo shoot? How many photos do you need? Have you ever worked with a professional photographer, and if so, what did you like &/or dislike? What do you want for the final product - social media images, wall portrait, leather album?

What do you love most about your job?

I love being one on one with a client and truly getting to know them, I want to hear people, see inside their lives, to tell their story in photos. Great photos can put the viewer’s heart right there into the very moment that the image was captured. The business portrait of an entrepreneur who has been putting off getting headshots made, the emotion a groom feels the first time he sees his bride in a dress that’s been kept secret for months, hope and ambition of a teenager in her last few months of high school, a portrait that truly captures the person, the actor, the business owner, the creative, all of that captured in a click – for a lifetime. I want those moments to be shared and to live on people’s walls to be seen, to be remembered of where they’ve been, and how far they’ve come. I see beauty in people, and I photograph because I want people to see that beauty for themselves.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My dad turned our kitchen into a dark room at night.

Why should our clients choose you?

I'm genuine, friendly, professional, and artistic. I work well with people and make them feel at ease. I love what I do and my clients are always satisfied.
