It should be noted that I did not make Meg's job easy! I am a determined and rebellious individual who was already partway down my path towards self-understanding and healthy habits, so I was likely not her "usual" client. When I approached Meg for a discovery session, I made this clear to her so she knew what she was getting into by taking me on as a client. Throughout our time together, there were plenty of moments when I pushed back, but Meg just rolled with it and found new ways to personalize her message to my needs and where I was on my journey. She also offered to audio or video record certain portions of our sessions, such as a visualization exercise, so that I would have it as a resource to refer back to after our time together. Although she provided me with all of the resources I was promised and more, she did not hesitate to skip covering something in person if there were more pressing issues to dig into during our live sessions. She would then have me complete the worksheets or activities on my own time, and made herself available in between sessions for additional conversation. She even went so far as to extend my program by two sessions at no additional cost to me in order to assure that I got to a place where we both felt comfortable with me implementing what I had learned on my own.
