Â FETCH is really good about making sure I'm comfortable about any sitter before sending them (like if a sub is needed). Â I have an assigned sitter but if she's unavailable (rare!), there's always coverage ... so I'm absolutely certain I can get support as my crazy schedule shifts. I've used PetPeeps for mid-day dog walking and overnight pet sitting and had good experiences with both. Â I live in Penn Quarter and was having a hard time finding a service in my neighborhood so I was really happy to find a reliable service who really care about animals. Â And they were very sweet to my dog. Â I agree with someone else who said overnight pet sitting was expensive since you also need to pay for a another walk (or two ) if you're gone for a 24 hour period, but it's a premium service that I only used when I needed to. Â I definitely understood the cost going in. Â From my experience the dog walking fees are pretty standard.

As the Coronavirus pandemic isolated so many of us, we turned to our canine companions for the love and connection we lost from our human world. Now that dog ownership is at the highest level in US history, it is becoming time for many of us to return to travel and the office.
As we step out of our homes, our dogs are left alone – often for the first time in their lives.
