What do you love most about your job?

Our team can all agree that the best part of our jobs is being a part of creating stringer human-canine bonds by facilitating an understanding in pet handlers of what dogs need and how to achieve that harmony.

What inspired you to start your own business?

When got woof? was founded in 2000, there was significantly less that was understood generally about dogs, but a definite need for that education. As the science progresses and dogs have become family in a way they weren't a few years ago, people have come to understand more clearly how increase these creatures are. To be able to create balance within that dynamic remains tremendously rewarding.

Why should our clients choose you?

Our approach is fairly unique in that we don't utilize treats to train. Some dogs aren't food motivated, and some situations require a response where treats may not be readily available. Rather than providing "bribes" for desired responses, we build mutually beneficial relationships.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

We provide remote, one-on-one services throughout the US and Canada.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We added remote services during the pandemic as a way to still benefit our clients while maintaining a safe distance. During lockdown, an unprecedented number of people fostered or adopted new family members who benefitted from the individual training we provide.
